I think you believe in the saying "badnaam hue to kya hua naam to hua"......well somethings just defeats logic...Are you saying that Pakistan went to UN with the view point to put pressure on India...UN refused...now Pakistan says look they uttered the word Kashmir so this is our diplomatic victory?? Sir, please give some respect to average Pakistani to claim such things....
Talk about desperate and pathetic. Not a single quote from UN officials and just a quoteless story from indian newspaper merits indian victory. Kashmir is being brought up in international media even US is quoting it so what else do you people call a diplomatic victory.
Kinda looks like that india today came up with a blowup sex doll to make itself feel better.
Ban ki-Moon's deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq, when asked to comment on the letter seeking the UN chief's intervention and his viewpoint on the issue, told reporters yesterday he would refer to a statement that was issued last week by Ban ki-Moon's spokesperson in which the UN chief encouraged India and Pakistan to resolve all differences through dialogue and engage constructively to find a long-term solution for peace and stability.
UN Ignores Pakistan's Bid to Seek Intervention on Kashmir
Well if you mean that pakistan went to UN with utter isolation of India in mind then that is a big fat NO but it did bring kashmir issue into light which MODI administration was trying to burry and this grabbed attention of international community now everyone is pushing for Mutual solution b/w India and Pakistan. I would say victory achieved. Somethings don't need to make a bang to make an impact.
If someone was hoping for some ground shaking revelation after a mere letter to UN then they are utter moron and stupid.
Writing is on the wall Pakistan wanted to involve UN on the issue but UN spokesperson has made their position clear..they want India and Pakistan to engage bilaterally..they don't want to get in the middle of it.
more newsBreaking News:- UN refused to intervene in current India Pakistan border standoff.
More news is coming.
On 21 June 2000, the 16-judge Bench headed by Gilbert Guillaume of France ruled—with a 14–2 verdict—upholding India's submission that the court had no jurisdiction in this matter. Pakistan's claims were dropped, without recourse to appeal, and the outcome was seen as a decision highly favourable to India. The Pakistan government had spent close to 25 million Pakistani rupees (approx. $400,000) on the case.
How else do you want UN to get involved? UN can only put pressure for the revival of negotiation process. A third party can't get involved unless agreed by both parties. This is the basic rule of negotiation.
I agree and from my side is the magnanimity of India which Musharaf was shouting and begging from India. India has always maintained that we want peaceful resolution and in current circumstances we are ready to accept LOC as International border to end the dispute. So accept it before Modi become adamant and changes his mind and start asking for the complete Kashmir under your control. You dont know Modi, how he keeps things under his controlthere are many options on table no side is ready to give boss it wil be give and take . akher koi end to ho gaya is shitty issue ka ke nhi ? LOC will be border after our so much stupidity and blood bath dekh lena aik din .
Didnt US and UN call for bilateral engagement to resolve this issue? By pressure if you mean spanking Indias a$$ to negotiation table then to your regret that will only happen in porno movies.Where is the pressure?
India is ready for talk only if you stop terrorism and violation of ceasefire.Didnt US and UN call for bilateral engagement to resolve this issue? By pressure if you mean spanking Indias a$$ to negotiation table then to your regret that will only happen in porno movies.
thing is bhai no one cares about what pakistani establishment says on kashmir or against india as they themselfs have made them a laughing stalk of the world and deu to there "kashkol diplomacy" no one wants to entertain them and onli command them as they have distroyed there own case deu to there shortsighted and irresponsible actions both in internal issues and handling there international issues ... am i wrong ?Didnt US and UN call for bilateral engagement to resolve this issue? By pressure if you mean spanking Indias a$$ to negotiation table then to your regret that will only happen in porno movies.
