UN: major Chinese cities at same level of development as developed countries

.
Honestly。 If India wants to realize the dream of "super power", Should first solve the problem of the slum.s. Don't be crazy for 3 years of development. Though he may be able to fool the Indian's eyes, But he can't fool the world.
That's why I said it would take a real time to reach your levels.
Education is a must and it's really a big challenge to make everyone a good citizen.
Typical south Asian mentality -.-
People just want to loot another not caring about development.
We've got everything but this attitude has made our country weak.
Hope to get well soon

reach our level? in your dreams pal
Dhanushkodi now this is what i call a ghost town
Was there something to troll here bro?
That's why I don't comment on anything on this forum because everything turns into a troll :|

Hindu can keep enjoying their Mumbai slum. Keep on trying to become slum dog millionaire
Nice trolling.
Was there anything to bring religion into?
Then you guys cry when we start pulling ears of people like you.

Ghost towns?

What ghost towns?

We do know there are lots of ghost cities, neighbourhoods and towns in the US.

Detroit is a good case in point where one often can't sell a decent-sized property for ONE mighty dollar. :enjoy:

But in China? Pls don't make yourself easily brainwashed by western propaganda machines/idealogical rants.:lol:
Again trolling
Man china uncensored :D

"I've seen" or "heard from western corporate media"?
It's quite funny to see them label a district UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FUTURE as a "ghost city".
If you have some interest to hear from an independent journalist working in China,
pls refer to his book https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Cities...0903808&sr=8-1&keywords=ghost+cities+in+china

Zhengzhou East New District, the most expensive district in Zhengzhou City now
"Ghost city" according to the west

I don't think China should "calm down" any little bit.
China is a big country, urbanisation rate is ONLY around 50%.
There is huge potential from 50% to 80%.
10,000km HSRs are being built
N*10,000km control-accessed expressways are being built
Several hundred subways are being built
Thousands of medical centres, schools, stadiums, shopping centres are being built.
AND IT'S TOO SLOW because China is a big country with hundreds of cities and towns.
We want to grow like you guys that's why I said we should take lessons from you guys.
Damn these are some lovely pictures.
Thanks for the share bro.:china:
Yea toh china amazes me and I hope to visit Beijing and Hong Kong someday.

Urbanization rate in China is 56%(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urbanization_in_China). Even minus the mountains and hills and desert areas, China's urbanization still has 30% of the progress space. So I don't say India needs how many years to achieve the level of China. Because China is also a developing country. It is well known.

economist put 2050 economic power by nominal gdp
1. China
2. India
3. USA

This is why there shouldn't be fighting between china & india. just those two markets alone, can both tell the west to "go fck off".

56% is overestimated according to many experts in China.
China is a big country with a big population with numerous underdeveloped counties and cities.

Yes, Beijing CBD is far from the core historic area.
I really like the region around forbidden city.

Dimension is different, it is difficult to understand each other.
So my advice is that you can pretend to not see me.

All tall buildings stand outside the 3rd ring road, away from the city center, the central government won't tolerate tall buildings overlooking Zhongnanhai government compound or overshadowing the ancient forbidden city and the People's assembly hall.

Same with Xi'an, the biggest city in Northwest China.
Tall buildings are not allowed in the ancient city.

So did your brother tell you another thing? - Shanghai is the least polite city in China!
Wuhan is a very old city in China. In accordance with the panlongcheng site (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panlongcheng). Wuhan existed for more than 3500 years! Have rich historical and cultural heritage. This is very valuable.
Shanghai? Only 150 years of history!
When Wuhan becomes a famous city in China, Shanghai is just a countryside. Real countryside.

Hey, I bet that Shanghai actor in your profile picture would disagree with your statement.

.
Shanghai and Shenzheng are new cities of less than 100 years old, they don't have much culture comparing to other Chinese cities. I don't know their people are not polite, I am just talking about the cities per se don't have much to see other than skycrapers.

same reason why people in NYC are assholes (they have a rep). things move fast and people got no time to play nice (time is money).

.
I don't think they r impolite.
The people who label others as "rude" are perhaps rude themselves.
I've been living there for many years, I've never felt the way as some people claimed.
People there are metropolitan and disciplinary.
I find more pros than cons.

I was not trolling at all, i'm just being very honest with you. When Indians say one day they will reach China's level i always think their mind is totally lost in the clouds. It's okay to look up to China but ask yourself this question and try to honestly answer it yourself is India ever gonna become like the next China? I'm not just talking about having infrastructure inside India, i'm talking the total package. India will have modern looking buildings too i'm sure of that and in the future have access to the Japanese HSR. However when you look at all these photos from China you seriously think India is gonna look like that? Every country has its own path of development and will look completely different than what you see here of all these China photos. China has plentiful super mega projects, are you claiming India will have these too? That's why i say keep on dreaming especially those Indians who made the claim 2 years ago that India would have surpassed China in 30 years. Two years already passed and the gap has only increased between our countries. Sadly there are way too many deluded Indians who think they will be a super power by 2030. Many of us have been members here for some years and saw countless of trolling Indians who can only brag and look down on China. So it's nothing personal against you :D
