After the signing of Simla Agreement in 1972, India never filed any complaints of any ceasefire violations on the LoC to UNMOGIP. Why would they do so now ?

Because India used the Hot line to DGMO over this so called violation and it is the first time they have done so as well. That is why I think this is related to Sajjan visit. It is an assessment nothing more because surgical strikes is very hot issue in India and India claiming that Pakistan did surgical strikes is India Gov humiliating it's self in front of public, now India would only do that to achieve some objective other wise Indians would have not made it so public and kept some secrecy on the issue.

UNMOGIP does not have permission to operate on Indian side of the LOC in line with our stand that the issue is purely bilateral.

This is my question? Why has UN highlighted the issue when India has not complained? Dawnleaks narrative is being clearly shown here. 100% sajjan meeting and sajjan tweet had the same narrative.
