UK has the most welcoming climat for migrants ..I have to lol my *** off... are not the migrats the main reason for Brexit...last time I checked the most popular nations form migrants are the USA and Germany
the UK is also one of the do nothing for EU ... UK has no large industry left, they have next to no inovations for the world... UK went into rotten in the 1950 and 60´s and never recovered ... all that keeps UK from sinking is north sea oil and stock trade... the remaining producing industry in the UK is mostly in froeign hands because the brits are to silly to run large scale production propper... good example is their rotten car industry...completly controlled by foreigner... biggest independend car producer today in the UK is the company building London taxis... thats the true about the UK
Oh dear more fantasies Georg?
The UK is in the top 5 for migrant destinations, just after Germany. Given the size of our population and landmass compared to yours we have per capita more!
What you consider industry leaving is what knowledgable folks consider moving up the industrial supply chain and innovation. No wonder you are going on and on about car production, because that's about your only Trump card (pun intended). With car production declining the world over and ownership of new cars on the decline why on earth do you think we would hold onto an industry which can easily be replicated anywhere in the world now with more competitive prices. Your own country is experiencing this which poses big problems for the Germany economy and yet you are on here laughing at us? Very strange.
Structural change and a sharp decline in automotive production in Germany is weighing on the economy, according to a report published today.
The Munich-based ifo Institute estimated that the automotive industry workforce has shrunk by 1.3 per cent since the beginning of 2019, a much sharper decline than in the rest of the manufacturing industry (-0.2 per cent.)

We're leap frogging into the 22nd century my friend, something you don't understand, hence explaining your posts about making cars. Take a look Germany below UK on the universally recognised global innovation index;
Here's the full report, have a read;

By the way North Sea Oil has declined greatly we certainly do not live off that, and your sheer ignorance is outstanding when you describe the UK has having some "stock trade", when it is the second leading financial centre of the world;

It changes yearly, we have held number 1 as well for years.
Poor Frankfurt at rank 15 is even below Dubai, a city far younger, tut tut.
Anyway you carry on making your cars whilst we make things your country can only dream of. Here is UK company reaction engines making one of the most powerful commercial jet engines in the world for commercial and defence use. They recently just finished the test for the pre-cooler at mach 5;
Recently, Reaction Engines passed a major milestone with the development of their SABRE engine. As the company announced earlier this week (on Tues. Oct. 22nd), their engineers conducted a successful test of a vital component – the engine’s heat exchange element (aka. precooler). What’s more, the test involved airflow temperatures equivalent to speeds of Mach 5, which is in the hypersonic range.

By the way how's that search going for the UNSC seat going? Left out in the cold? Poor guys.
