What's new

UK out of EU

. . . .
Countries like Britain and Russia never truly belong to Europe anyway. They are too uppity to be dominated by Germany and France.

. . .
So,while many Britons voted for Brexit due to immigration do you really think non-European migrants will be better accepted ?

There are many many different reasons why the UK voted for Brexit. Each person will have a different story on why. however, having your borders defined and controlled by people you can elect is very important, as are most of the laws that define our country and society.

We can decide for ourselves, what our immigration policy should be, and it will be in our interest.

Being forced to have an open door policy to every tom, dick and harry by the EU law was and is an issue and contributed to having to leave. 3.7 million EU citizens are now in the UK, and 2million of them came in the last 18 odd years !!!!. That is alot of people to absorb and has distorted many of the things we took for granted. As a proportion of our overall population it is quite significant, and has had a significant effect on the UK and therefore what people view of immigation.

Having close to 2million EU citizens migrate to the UK in the last 18 years has caused a lot of issues over jobs, public services etc... we need to turn off the tap for both EU and UK citizens and use the time to recover and rebuild....

We have had also very high non-EU migration, and the new immigration policy will look to bring those numbers down aswell. So, overall, less opportunity for migration, not more.. despite what some people on this forum think!

We should declare January 31st 2020 as independence day and make it a national public holiday(bank holiday) so that we can celebrate our liberation from EU occupation from EU occupation every year!

FFFrreeeeeddddoooommmmm !!!! :) Cannot wait !!!!!

UTTER crap claim... UK join EU on its own will ... but thats how brain washed brits are from this years of Brexit nonsens

. .
Pakistanis who are smart and wish to migrate and settle in the UK, this is going to be a big opportunity for them after 31 January 2020 Insha'Allah.

The UK is going to make it easier for Pakistanis to get a visa to the UK as previously stated by PM Boris Johnson when he visited Pakistan as a Foreign Minister.

Try and get a good understanding of UK visa laws if you're interested.

What makes you think so ?
There is a lot of racism there since brexit , specially against the immigrants. UK is stinkimg and rotting. Best is to stay away from it for next 3 years at least.
It will be a miracle if they survive

Not to me the stabbings. They have increased by a huge margin.

Yep. Migrants were the real issue. Knowing that half UK population is old.and unable.to.work. on the other hand , UK.govt has opened post study work visa now to get more immigrants stay in the queendom
Brexit is another name.of stupidity and ignorance

You are shown only one side of the picture. I.would.see who would buy UK products when it wil be taxed heavily and lorries will be stuck forever in channel. EU has 27 countries to work.with.
Would.love.to see an independent scotland soon

.
So basically the major European countries not in EU will be Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Norway, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzigovina, Iceland.

Actually the UK leaving the EU was pretty much decided by the last Labour government of Tony Blair who in his infinite wisdom decided to open up the borders to EU immigrants in 2004, when they could have delayed it till 2011 like France and Germany sensibly did.
David Cameron just delivered the final killer blow by holding the 2016 referendum as he was running scared of the Euro-sceptics in his party.

As for who would buy UK products, you aware that Airbus is basically UK tech? Without UK technology like engines and wing design(the only really difficult part of airframe), Boeing would destroy Airbus and dominate the world airliner market once again.

If you want anything in terms of mobile chipsets, there is only the choice between US Qualcomm and UK's ARM holdings(even though the company has been sold to Japan).

EU needs UK high-end tech to stay competitive with USA and they have no substitute for this.

about time get this crap over with but looking long run Britain should have stayed with the EU than dragging and wasting a few years

.
Oh yes. Cameron changed his.mind quite quickly.if you remember. ..
No point discussing the past now. Brexit will cause more problems to British abroad in Europe. Those who want to stay in the island could have survived any way.

Let's see where this land. At the moment, I see it going In crap.
