What's new

UK launches new 'points based immigration system'.

Poland's economy has improved significantly. A lot of Poles have moved back home, the building sites are pretty much devoid of them.

Romania and Bulgaria are still pretty poor.

The last time I looked the population is still at 921,000 (government figure) odd. I think they opened up their own businesses and moved into other industries.
Do you know any who have gone?

Same here. I find the Poles, Lithuanians and Romanians to be very friendly and easy to get on with.

I find them very mixed. Although Poles I find are the best, but that’s my experiences.

.
For Britain they are their best hope at keeping their desired demographic balance millions of Poles,Bulgarians,Romanians,Russians(not so much),Ukranians,Bosniaks,Albanians,Serbs,Moldovans etc

I wish they were less a..s k..sers to Yankee and the west tho

True, but that's their governments. Their people are very nice though.

. . .
I am not an immigrant.

These cheap labors drive down the overall salaries.

Not you, any immigrant lives cheap.

Strange. Whereas ten years ago the sites were full of them, now you barely see one. In my normal day to day life I see a lot less than I used to. Also, the Polish economy is thriving. But you can't argue with statistics.

True and I don’t discount personal experiences. I’ve seen them move to other professions, still lower skilled just not as much as construction.
I’ve got a house of young guys near me (renting) they’re all here and are staying.
But I think after this year we will see what happens, as it’s going to be the end of the transition stage.

Nothing to say about our country men who got UK residence thanks to thousands of sham marriages to Polse and Lithiums.

Sham? Bro many of these guys have kids with these women. I was shocked at the sheer number of new Pakistanis married to Eastern European women.
My friend’s wife is a dentist(Pakistani origin) and she says she sees at least a dozen kids a week with a skavic first name and Pakistani surname e.g. Marius Gilani.

Bonafide marriages now require to show kids coming out of the marriages. There are government crackdowns on sham marriages. Having kids significantly increase the due payments.

Screw ((Multi-culturalism)) and ((neo-liberlism))

All it creates is bastard children

I am not against mixed marriages tho otherwise I am being hypocritical of myself as I am of mixed origin too but a lot of them are sham for immigration purposes

I don't want to offend Polish men but a lot of their women are put off marrying their own due to their drinking habits.

Yeah same here in the town I live where there are a lot of half-polish/half bengali/pakistani/arab/insert any other nationality here children in primary schools.

But Home Secretary Priti Patel told BBC Breakfast the government wanted to "encourage people with the right talent" and "reduce the levels of people coming to the UK with low skills".
"Low skilled" europeans not good enough, compared to "high skilled" indians who will easily have an advantage in points system because of their English and the fact they are more likely to take technical degrees. Australia and Canada are the countries that come to mind which have similar system, and if I am not wrong I read that Indians were the largest immigrant group in those places

.
That will IN FACT benefit the EU citizens as they tend to be more educated and highly skilled compared to citizens from outside of the EU
If that was the case then they would already be here . They had the absolute freedom to before. What we got was the unskilled masses from Poland hungary and all the other "new" members of the EU.
Any attempt to gerrymander the point system to favour EU migration would fall foul of tons of UK legislation including the race relations act.

And as for those questioning whether India benefits from this new system , Just google "will India benefit from new UK immigration system" ,. There is so so so much I cant list it all

. .
If I do Masters in Mechanical Engg. From UK and get the job in my field then would I be given citizenship?
