Kandahar's Police Chief Abdul Raziq, however, told media categorically that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Haqqani Network were behind the incident.

This guy was the one who supervised the security of this whole event and suddenly vanished off minutes before the device went off. Can someone ask him that how did the device end up being sewn in Sofa and that too inside a heavily guarded and fortified building? What about scanning of whole area? How come talis were able to so freely operate inside such a secured building? Does he think that UAE is fool to believe all this BS? On the contrary he is prime suspect here who had performed such a heinous act. And this is what UAE thinks and things point towards people like Mr Abdul Raziq and Co.

I sincerely don't. You can send me details via PM if you want.
I am sure the needful was done when needed.

If at all you want to help, you should tell your government to treat Pakistanis with respect. Pakistan was there to help when UAE was building itself. I in no way want to defend those who are miscreants but give them some respect at the airports. Westerners do whatever they want and yet they are treated with respect whereas Pakistanis are being looked down upon.

You don't have to defend UAE on social forums but create an environment where people dont bad mouth you. Respect others and get the respect. I am sure those who are expats in your country from Pakistan would never speak so openly as they are scared to get thrown out. Command respect not by iron hand but by giving respect.

Exactly. Just after the incident he talked to media and blamed Pakistan there and then. So if he knew from beginning this was going to happen, how come he didnt stop it? Its a same tactic of our neighbor's he and almost whole Afghan Govt use to blame Pakistan for their incompetence.
Here is sort of same analysis by BBC too:

"
Who were the Kandahar attackers? Dawood Azami, BBC World Service, Kabul
There are many theories as to who was behind the guesthouse attack, but three are seen as being most likely:

The first is that the Taliban or their allies in the Haqqani militant network carried out the attack. Kandahar police chief Abdul Raziq, who was present when the blasts took place, has been on the militants' hit list and is known to be staunchly anti-Pakistan. The Taliban denied involvement but may have done this when they realised the victims were UAE officials. The Taliban are on good terms with the UAE and usually avoid attacking diplomats from countries not involved in military operations in Afghanistan.

Regional tensions mean intelligence agencies from other countries could be involved. Pakistan and India have long tried to shape events in Afghanistan and recently Gulf Arabs, led by Saudi Arabia, intensified their efforts to increase their influence. Iran is not happy about this and has established what it calls "contacts" with the Taliban.

The third possibility is that of local rivalries between officials and politicians in Kandahar. They have sometimes been accused of using the Taliban to harm each other. The Afghan government has launched an investigation to identify those who carried out the attack and their motives."

Looking at the current scenario only 3rd theory comes up strong as along with Talis both Pakistan and India will never carry out such an act which can harm relations with UAE. And m sure that Gen (Retd) Pasha would have already shaped up things back in UAE.

We need to have good relations with everyone including UAE without compromising on our national interest. UAE should remain a friend and we should work with them to get all better good for both of us.

And when I say everyone that obviously doesn't include India and Afghanistan because these two are not worth it.

I am pretty sure that in the time of Need Pakistan will be the first Country to send its troops to defend UAE ( may God Forbid ) , but i am myself a witness of how Emarati people Treated Pakistani .. but i have seen Respect for Pakistani Soldiers i once see a High level Soldier in PA uniform at Ibn-e-Batoota mall , and with him there were some Officials of UAE and Military professionals there i see that, but i just wish that local population of UAE respect Pakistani as their brothers .. or at least equals . rest i have no problems with UAE as far as they are not hostile towards us .

The locals are spoilt brats. They are disrespectful. Not only towards Pakistanis, but lowly skilled labor in general from almost every country.

My friend, your security services are supposed be rather good...from what I gather.

I am certain they together with their Pak friends will get to the bottom of it.

After all you arab people are famous for your hospitality and your sense of honour.

Also their families.

Find the masterminds, planners, financieer and quietly eliminate them. Job done.
