hitting israel is the only way iran could hurt usa. and i dont think its that hard to smuggle weapons to lebonan when hezbullah is in syria too .
Iran's historical/land/sea/political disputes are with Arabs, not USA. You know they have disputes over the Gulf and Islands in the region? We are still not aware if US will partake in any such war or to what extent if it did.
But there is some serious efforts to put this region into conflict and that don't favors any of the regional players.
This seems like the conclusion you come to when you don't know where greed/disputes will take these countries. Iran has a lot of rhetoric towards these Arab nations and others here boast about it and warn these nations of whats to come. When push comes to shove, if it is not in benefit of Iran, let's just say outside forces are trying to plunge the region into conflict.
I think you should be honest with yourself, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iranian regimes seek a dominance in the region not for the sake of Allah or Islam. Those regimes and the people tied to them are power hungry, they are also dunya hungry, they want to become rich, own properties, vehicles, have relationships with as many women, and so on. And they are not wiling to sacrifice themselves for it, so when their interests/lives are really threatened at the core, they downplay idea of direct war, or downplay idea that they targeted UAE merchant ships, or deny that Iran targeted UAE merchant ships and so on. Because now it doesn't involve ordinary poor people which they use to advance their agenda.
There is no confusion or misleading statements when Muslims observe Islam properly like at the time of the 4 rightly guided Caliphs. They're honest about what they seek in this world and what they want to advance and what they hope and work for. Unlike those who have gone astray like those regimes and their supporters.
