I was referring to the racist Gulf Arabs not the decent ones. Hence I even used the term, "Gulfis". NO, I do not hate Arabs. Trust me, when Iraq and Syria were attacked, I was hurt a lot. I even attended the 2003 protests against the Iraq invasion. I have donated a lot of money to Iraqi and Syrian charities. Iraqis, Syrians, Jordanians and Lebanese are friendly towards Pakistanis and we get along fine. Saudi people have a bad attitude though. They are not likeable.

Is it me, but why are all Saudis I have EVER met so slow at everything. Slow at writing, eating, typing, walking, talking and even take at least an hour in the toilet.

"Discrimination/looking down on people" is tied to status in the GCC, not race. Much of the foreign labour from South Asia is composed of low-skilled and uneducated labour. Many being illiterates. So when some people only see cleaners, manual workers etc. the reputation follows suit. If every South Asian expat was a nuclear physicist, the community would be perceived differently by those people in question.

But Arabs are easy victims, we are supposedly supposed to be infallible angels, we are all filthy rich (in the eyes of the average PDF'er) and all that other nonsense. This guy is some random Youtuber. Not a celebrity. I took a look at his Twitter feed after he posted the video on Twitter, and none of the Emiratis agreed with any imaginary racism.

I still don't see anything remotely racist about saying that fellow Arabs are treated differently from non-Arabs. It is absolutely normal and logical that Arabs will feel a greater and natural affinity with our brethren. That does not imply racism or discrimination. The laws of the UAE are clear on this front.

Using that logic most Pakistanis here are racist by default as they too (naturally) would prefer a fellow Pakistani over a foreigner every day of the week. No need to pretend otherwise.
