If China was confident in how nicely its industrialization and modernization of Xinjiang is going, then surely tourists should be allowed to go through there freely and the UN should be able to investigate freely in Xinjiang. But no, this is then called "interfering with domestic affairs".

Hi, I think you dont understand this extradition law. Do not listen to western or Hong Kong biased news that spin this extradition law as if its China fault. There is nothing wrong with this extradition law and this protest is also not totally about this law. But of Hong konger anger also directed at housing problem which 50% of the population cant afford housing. But its not problem of CPC but Hong Kong elites who are greedy for their own gain. CPC as a man of honour never insist in meddling the governing of Hong Kong.

I thought large number of protesters are those who cant afford housing and felt no hope in future as housing is a beyond reach. Many arrested protester claim they dont mind being jailed as they have no place they called home.
