they said Vietnamese had better pay rate than Indonesia, but unfortunately their production and output manufacturing is still low compared to us very low indeed, with less than 40 billion US dollar output in manufacturing sector albeit their 100 million population, their productivity is still less compared to us who had 250 population but can put 230 billion US dollar manufacturing output. Their wage is expensive, but their productivity is much lower.

1. Their people is much demanding
2. Lazy
3. Uneducated
4. Their infrastructure is sucks

$40 an hour is bad but I know of worse.
At my sisters work at a mental health ward in a rural town, nurses get $700 per night shift of 8 hours and because all the patients sleep during the night, the nurses could watch dvds and get up to do a general checkup every hour.

Even my sister who is a nurse thinks that its corrupt.

I have to do five 12 hour shifts every week and get taxed to death to pay for lazy nurses in provincial towns while never having any health problems for years. And because I live on an acreage on the outskirts of Sydney, I have crap broadband, crap street lights and crap rabbits every where.

One of my relative went to Vietnam before years ago. He says men in Vietnam do not work and their wife work for them. In Malaysia, the state of Kelantan is similiar. Champa legacy? Yes there are hardworking men, but this is the general perception in Vietnam 10+ years ago. I do not know if this has change recently.

Many Vietnamese women left Vietnam looking for overseas husband. So far I only knew one Vietnamese women married to a Hawker stall in Malaysia(I did ask her the reason).
