U.S. negotiators have reached the terms of a phase-one trade deal with China that now awaits President Donald Trump’s approval, according to people briefed on the plans, Bloomberg News reports.

Trade advisers are set to meet with the president at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the agreement. An announcement could come as soon as this afternoon, the people said. A White House spokesperson declined to comment.

.
This is a complete disaster. CCP has no intention of following the rules of any trade deal. They will break the rules of this trade deal like they broke the rules of every other trade deal. Decoupling is the only option. Trump is being played by the CCP. We need full economic and financial sanctions on CCP companies and individuals. Trump is too worried about himself rather than standing up for freedom. A narcissist is always like that. The free world cannot allow a repressive Communist dictatorship to bully us in all areas. Trump is making a monumental mistake by rescuing the failing CCP economy.

We feel the factory is running such a strategy that it does not need to formally lay off staff, but lets executives take three month holidays with less than 2,000 yuan (US$283) monthly income

VN samsung workers salary could get $300 in 2016 ( and abt 380-450 usd/month in 2018), while thousands Cnese workers only get 283 usd/month when their daddy Samsung fled to VN.

Xiaomi boss Lei is resigned due to bad bussiness, Cnese worker lives now r hopeless and cant survive when their salaries r even lower than Samsung VN workers:cry::cry:

"Recalling (Note 7) doesn't mean we are unemployed or such; Samsung also makes many other phones and new models, not just the Note 7," said Nguyen Thi Hang, one of some 110,000 Vietnamese who work for Samsung Electronics across Vietnam, making it one of the nation's biggest employers.

The Samsung factory workers get around $180 in monthly base salary, which can grow to around $300 when overtime, annual incentives and other benefits are included. That is well above average incomes in such rural areas.

China’s regional governments reluctant to raise the minimum wage
08/05/2019
As China’s economic growth slows, local governments are increasingly reluctant to jeopardise their competitive advantage by raising the minimum wage. So far this year, only three out of 32 regional governments have reportedly increased their statutory minimum wage, although several others are expected to follow suit later in the year.

FeatureChina%20production%20line.jpg

Shanghai, which has the highest minimum wage in the country and usually adjusts its rate every year, increased the monthly minimum wage on 1 April this year by just 60 yuan to 2,480 yuan and its hourly rate by one yuan to 22 yuan.

The north-western province of Shaanxi raised the minimum wage on 1 May by 120 yuan across three categories to 1,800 yuan per month in first tier cities, 1,700 yuan in second tier cities and 1,600 yuan for the rest of the province.

After three years with no adjustment, Chongqing finally increased its monthly minimum wage by 300 yuan on 1 January this year to 1,800 yuan in central districts and 1,700 yuan in outlying districts.

It is expected that the capital Beijing, and the nearby provinces of Shandong and Hebei will also increase their minimum wage rates this year. Hebei has not increased its minimum wage since July 2016 and currently has one of the lowest rates in the country. The western province of Qinghai has not increased its rate since July 2017 and may also make an adjustment this year.

The rate and frequency of minimum wage increases in just about every municipality and province has declined steadily since 2010, with several regions including Guangdong now only adjusting their rates every three years as opposed to the previously-mandated two years.

As a result, the gap between the minimum wage and the average wage in many cities has continued to widen. China’s Minimum Wage Regulationsimplemented by the then Ministry of Labour and Social Security in March 2004, stipulate that each region should set its minimum wage at between 40 and 60 percent of the local average wage. However, very few cities have ever reached that target. In Guangzhou, the minimum wage is now just 25 percent of the average wage, while in Beijing it is just under 20 percent, based on average wage recruitment data from the first quarter of 2019.

The gap between the richest and poorest regions also continues to grow. The major cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Nanjing and Hangzhou all now have a monthly minimum wage of more than 2,000 yuan but in smaller cities in Hunan, Anhui, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and even Fujian, the monthly rate is still less than 1,300 yuan

That's just a guideline not how much people earn in China. Nobody pays at exactly the minimum wage genius, else noobody will work at that company. You just need to jump out the well and see the world. Don't have to be afraid, once you know the truth you will go back and kill your Vietcong gov. Lol

No body ?? When will u stop lying here ??

Go and ask Liu Fang and face wt the truth ,bro
-----
Liu Fang from Henan province, who has worked at the factory for over five years.

According to local labour law, workers must work 22 days a month to receive the monthly basic salary of around 1,800 yuan (US$255).
“Many of our workers worked for only 15 or 16 days total last month. Due to the insufficient attendance, the factory even deducted our basic salary,” Liu added.

Read your article, executives were given 3 months leave and paid while on leave around 2000 rmb. It's normal practice during hard times that workers are paid half their salary and asked to be on leave. Ao their normal pay will be around 4k to 5k rmb. Then the article goes on to say minimum wage is 1800rmb which a factory will NEVER pay and people need to woek 22 days to get it. That's a law. That sentence highlights that the worker had her salarry deducted because she only worked 15 16 hours not telling us her pay which ai estimate to be around 3k and with overtime 4k.
