U.S. Punishes Russia for Election Hacking, Ejecting Operatives

Well I thought crashing of the Tu-154 was something more than just a coincidence/accident. Am I right to believe that it was a part of retaliation?
I don't believe a country that has a huge ego problem would just satisfy itself by only ejecting operatives and imposing sanctions.
Or I might be wrong.

.....scratching my head on this one Trump will get the CIA report next week which will explain how he worked with Russia to hack his own win ...yes that sounds whack

Now it makes sense why John kerry did that Israel drama 1-2 days ago just to rally support in Arab regions for sanctions against Russia
