What's new

U.S. officials have urged China to cease development of anti-satellite capabilities

Typical cry baby behaviour and double standard mentality from US.

China will not stop but instead double up the amount of test and hope the debris knock out all US satellite. US has more asset in space , we have lesser to lose. What can cry baby US do? Keep crying? Lol.

We can always claim to destroy a couple of Beidou satellites by mistake if you try to knock ours.

There are rumors of a stealth helicopter but nobody has seen it, thats how the U.S. military rolls. Is it destabilizing? I doubt that.
I said the US was destabilizing or its 11 carriers?

Do more ASAT tests in LEO and GEO from land and sea. The DN-1 and DN-2 missiles can shoot down satellites from land in LEO and GEO respectively. The HQ-26 (China's SM-3) can shoot down satellites from ships.

In a Space War, US has much more to lose than China.

Beloved members Space debris is indeed a issue to debate on but Chinese testings are not only to be solely blamed on. USA itself has tested anti satellite capabilities furthermore The number of satellites USA and developed countries are launching are also doing the job of space debris that is that uncontrolled number of satellites are being launched every year now Which can be problem for other satellites in same orbit.

Our American friends never want to sign a non-space weapon agreement with us and now they cry that we do Anti-satellite weapon. Come on, stop crying. You conduct Anti-satellite weapon test too. Let be honest, here. Shall we? LOL

If the media's going to report it, I hope they get the right information next time.

Usually the media gets their sources from the U.S. military.:coffee:

China is actively working on ASAT on the premise of W Bush's US national space policy

I think this statement said all, there is no need to debate about Chinese ASAT

Funny you forgot to quote the whole thing.
The new National Space Policy rejects Arms control agreements that might limit U.S. flexibility in space and asserts a right to deny access to space to anyone "hostile to U.S. interest." The George W. Bush Administration had said the policy revisions are not a prelude to introducing weapons systems into Earth orbit, and that the policy is not about developing or deploying weapons in space.

Is the Chinese rig destabilizing? It was enough for the Vietnamese to kill Chinese citizens or force them to flee.

Why do you call it China's SM-3? Don't mistaken one of our warships as yours that can shoot down a satellite. Oh and by the way, China will lose every satellite it has if it tries to attack ours. That is true.

US has far more satellites to lose than us. You depend far more on satellites than us. We can shoot down every single satellite in space.

LOL! So we destroy all your satellites, you are not as dependent as we are? Now you are BS.
