They never did. China’s hypersonic solution is less advanced, which is why they could deploy earlier. It’s a “good enough” approach. US hypersonics require extreme precision, so it’s taken longer to advance.

Sure why not kill one man? The U.S. sent a squadron of fighters to kill an admiral during WW2. They even thought of a Global Strike weapon to kill the terrorists from half way around the world.

This missile is not ARRW, and the missile just delayed testing, it never launched. This is a hypersonic air breathing cruise missile, not HGV. During development its common to have hiccups along the way. Thats normal.

China hyper-sonic is safe to say 5-10 years ahead of US.

6 inches? More like 0.0001 inches. Just like US's claim F-22 has RCS of a fly, it's a fake. F-22 has bigger RCS than F-15 in reality.
