U.S. flies B-52 over South Korea after North's nuclear test

.
*shrug* you mean like we've done to North Korea in the past 25 years? Nork's can keep their weak nukes, it only strengthens our position, puts pressure on China for supporting North Korea, strains Chinese and South Korean relations and surely gives Chinese planners sleepless nights thinking that Nork nukes can just as easily be pointed at Beijing. Frankly China can't just topple North Korea if Kim becomes too much of a thorn anymore.

Of course this is assuming they have a delivery platform for this weak nuke.
you are missing my point. ITS NOT ABOUT CHINA its about the bullish behaviour of USA. how can you ask others not to have something you already have in 1000's of numbers? and the only country in the world who have ever used nukes against any other country is still USA remind you that.

Because the more countries that have nukes, the higher the chance that they will be used by error because of a false alarm if not deliberately, how can you not see this?

This isn't something that just the USA decided unilaterally, this is a UN decision made by the countries of the world.

If you want the US to continue to be the only country in the world to have used nukes so you can rail against it on a meaningless talking point, you will also agree that it is a global good to support non-proliferation, especially to rogue despotic regimes such as North Korea.

Either all should shed nukes, led by USA, or all should be free to possess these.

Nice, keep wasting fuel on useless flights america.

North Korea disagrees. I think Kim is really mad about this.

That's exactly what the those who reign over N America like the gullible and foolish Americans to believe.

Indeed, North Korea is working hard to develop SLBMs and ICBMs to reach the U.S. Hence why the U.S. has been developing ABMs for many years now in response.

.
North Korea's nuke is made for US troops in South Korea. It is not made for South Korean. It chooses nuke because it has nothing else to deter US troops. US should withdraw from South Korea as the latter is well capable of defending itself from North Korea.

There are 28,000 US troops in SK. North Korea has 1.2 million. I mean, US troops are very badass, but really, NK outnumbers them 50 to 1, and they're terrified??

Just the presence of the American troops terrifies the NK. Because it would create automatic response to war or fighting after the truce. More forces will be sent in.

So either China and Russia and USA and Pakistan and India must give up nukes, or Somalia and North Korea and Afghanistan and Georgia and Taiwan and Mexico and Poland must get nukes, and nothing else?

You are not looking at reality and instead being an idealist or deliberately obtuse.

North Korea is softer than Saudi, if we talk about rogue despotic regimes. At least North Korea don't discriminate against women, who in every nation are half of the population.

True, all genders are equally trampled on by little kim!

Sauds getting a nuke would be a nightmare too.

How about we suggest Kim ascend to king? In this case, everything is reasonable. Korea return to a kingdom. Damn Japanese killed Korean king in 1910's, making Korea a mess for one hundred year.

Kim is a demigod as it is, king would be a demotion! :woot:

1. Yep, that's right. All those who are able should develop nukes. Only then will the Yankees see the need for an universal disarmament.
2. Meanwhile, the Yankees must understand hypocrisy cannot last for over. You are modernizing (meaning enhancing legality) yourself, and have the temerity to ask others to shed theirs!!

Great, so you are not actually interested in finding a solution or reducing the chances of nuclear conflict in a realistic manner, gotcha.
