We should be welcome any technical that USA is offering and it should be taken seriously. Aircraft carrier is a very complex system and USA has perfected this after decades of experience. Even the lone Russian aircraft carrier has many problems. Its good that the flaws were pointed early and steps should be taken to rectify. China is also a noob in aircraft career development.

I loose nothing, either China. The first Chinese carrier will be inducted before IAC-1. Cause we don't have to wait any imported sub system to fit it. IAC-1 is much smaller than our type 001A.

Russia, though a loyal friend of ours did not provide a good carrier in the last aircraft carrier deal. True but we have to consult some external country which are experts in carrier development for a decent final product.
