US and EU have been slaughtered and humiliate CN easily since centuries ago. In 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis, US slaughtered PLA completely with no single US troop died.

CN is just not smart and brave enough to live in this tough world. They " human wave "tactic didnt work since Qing's collapse, but PLA still cant make a better tactic till now due to its stupidity and corruption.

PLA simply never can beat US like VN did . For example, with just two men, we destroyed USNS Card docking in SaiGon, no one else in this world can do the same.

The attack was a success and Cardsank 48 feet (15 m), and five civilian crew members were killed by the explosions. The ship was refloated 17 days later, and was towed to the Philippines for repairs.

Thing with China is that they really try hard to be relevant. They deserve full marks for poverty alleviation and infrastructure development in their own country. But it is no US

poverty alleviation and infrastructure development only start after Deng begged for help from JP-US in 1978 thanks for CN's betrayal to communist bloc. Before 1979, CN is just a country of 500 millions hungry and starving peasants and even eat insects to survive. (Cnese now still eat worm just to keep their cheap jobs)

Well, the IC and SOC are American (I think ZTE were using Qualcomm chips) so they are going to be off their phone for 7 year, this can be easily replaced with Kirin Chips.

Wifi, Bluetooth is technology patented by American company. WiFi is managed by Wi-Fi Alliance based in Austin Texas (Although the technology itself is an Australian invention) and Bluetooth is managed by Bluetooth SIC which is based on Kirkland Washington. To use both service, you will have to gain a license from both company, which is now banned by the US. I don't know whether Chinese have similar service that did not need to license from WiFi Alliance and Bluetooth SIC, I think it's a bit tricky, but circumcising a license is doable.

There may have other technology involved, but not as big as the Wifi and Bluetooth. But the major thing is the OS, if that law applies to free licensing agreement (Android is a free open source license managed by Apache License) then ZTE phone would have to replace its Android system, which is the biggest deal of all.

Do you know how big is the money that the US companies lost because of the ban? Maybe it just 10% of their total sales, but 10% of that giant company has is a very big money for any company to get. Without US Suppliers, there will come another Suppliers who willing to seize that big money for their own. Whatever it come from German, French, Korea, or Japan. Or maybe any US companies who have branch company in Europe, Korea or Japan, or in another country in this world. Or ZTE can just get the spare part from third party. Or maybe some Chinese companies can replace those spare parts for them. Or Maybe ZTE can create a child company in Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea or Japan and buy those spare parts, then export it to China for ZTE.

There are a lot of way of ZTE to get out from this problematic situation. Because the key word here is "Profit". Those investors and multinational Enterprises care about profit more than nationalism.

Man, its just like US boss lost a good maid and his house look messy few days .

Pls remember that before Deng beg US-JP to become their maid in 1978, US-JP r still rich. CN make US-Jp richer, without CN, US is just less rich while million Cnese dragged back to starving ppl like before 1978.
