Iran doesn't need Turkey to provide them with better weapons. The only reason why Turkey has more advanced weapons is because they got better access to foreign technology, assistance and industries. Iran is not only copying weapons, but even upgrading them.

It is time for you to leave that inferiority complex behind for your own good. The reason why developed and developing countries has better weapons and technology is because, unlike Iran, they are not isolated and in a relationship with eachother, thus assisting each other with technology share, logistics, training, etc... So it is not something special to Turkey.

By handpicking Turkey from that list you are basically demonstrating your jealousy and trying to ease that complex with implying that Turkey is not producing any technology but West provides it to them, because the West loves us so fvcking much

There are many countries that not under isolation but still couldn't manage to produce any significant military system while Turkey has many achievements in many area. And there is no guarantee that Iran will be successful when its isolotion lifted. But apparently, your poor personality and low self confidence needs stories like this so that you can cheer up.

Its not about fear. The slap is about creating an own indigenous military industry, while not being dependent on others for a industry or technology.

I dont think it's completely possible in today's world, even the Soviets had problems.

This is 2nd step for Iran to make his own indigenous Attack Helicopter .... and don't forget our military budget is less than 15 billions dollar and we spend most of it to operate current weapons and pay the salaries of troops ....

Turkey hadn't an super power enemy so he will spend his budget freely , but we should spend it with some plane and some high tech project like B373 and missile programs swallowing the budget ...

although we spend money in metallurgy and micro electronic as well and in next 10 years we will make our engine and after that our weapon program will be on rail ( after strengthen basic and most important sciences in country ..... that why USA and western putting sanction on sanction on Iran ... to slow down us ... for sure they don't want an strong regional power with opposite view ... )

I think this new sub system will increase capability of our Touphan Helicopter ... maybe 30 -40 %

imaging we would make air to surface version of Dehlaviye ( korrent ) it would become a nightmare for any tank ... or using SADDID missile on it ....

I beg to differ. Making your own engine is extremely complex. Even the Chinese are struggling (or struggled) with making one.

we already spend more than 15-20 years on making it .... and we already make so many spare part of F-14 , F-4 and F-5 engine ...

and Defense minister said that we make an Turbofan engine with 20 kn thrust ..... ( they have plane to unveiling it but for some reason they cancel it )

our Military doctoring is Defensive , so we only need 30-40 kn engine to make a light fighter jet to protect our own air space beside of our Anti air defense systems ....

don't compare us with China ... they are good , very good , but they are different nation ... they need an turbofan engine with at least 50-55 KN for their fighters while we have another path ...

and don't forget secret cooperation ...

as you see , this two Touphan -2 Helicopter have some difference in their cockpit ....

IRGC prefer cockpit with flat glasses but Iran army prefer embowed glasses cockpit ( I hoped that I saying it clearly )
