Two troopers injured in Chhattisgarh Maoist attack

Raipur: Two troopers of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in a gunfight with Maoist militants in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district Saturday, police said.

The injured personnel have been admitted to Bijapur district hospital.

Bijapur district Superintendent of Police Prashant Agrawal said that a team of CRPF troopers on a routine search operation came under fire from Maoists.

The jawans returned fire. After an hour long gun battle, the insurgents fled into the jungles. In the gunfight, two CRPF personnel, Bhagirathi Kalita and Chandan Kumar, were injured. Their condition is stable," Agrawal said.

I hope for the quick recovery of the jawans..and police and crpf are killing atleast 4-5 maoists on every alternate day.....80% of their leaders has been killed...maoists are being weaker with every day passes!!!

what do you want to hear from us!that our troops are killing those ugly mot***f*****s by the hundreds in the past couple of years!our forces have eliminated nearly 80% of their leaderships and soon by the grace of the God we'll wipe out these red morons once and for all from the face of this planet!and before you jump down to point the casualties suffered by our troops in these operations,lemme remind you that casualties is a normal phenomenon in a full fledged war.so yeah they have also killed some of our brave jawans but at the end of the day India has got an unlimited resource to replenish her ranks,a luxury which these maoists don't have at their disposal!
