Two soldiers martyred in terrorist attack from across Afghan border

.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

When we will come out of “mental slavery of gori chamri” …

When we realize that engraze is NOT superior than us; we have ourselves to blame of most of our issues …

When we realize that we need to be United above zaat, paat, biradery, zubaan etc … in short when there is no “Tazaad between our qol or fail”

The problem is only limited to weak and compromised people. I live in the West, live with the "Gori Chamris" , deal with them days in days out. Never got impressed, on the contrary, they get intimidated by me all the time.

The problem is with the weak minded and corrupts, they cannot get the inferiority complex out of their brains.

I concur.

Sir woh colonialism ki baaqiyaat hein … I really do not want to get into history but abhi bhi “engrazon ki hukum udooli se kuch fard dartey hein … sab bahaduri indians ke liyey hey…”

I give credit to PMIK that at least he shows some how to talk and deal with engraze …

At the end we ALL can pray that Allah SWT humari foj or mulk ke sheriyon ko dushman ki chaalon se mehfooz rakhey (Ameen).

We should be a little patient and let Af TALIBAN turn things normal. The country is in chaos rn and we can't expect AF TALIBAN to swipe TTP out in a day. We should complain when it's almost a year.

The way our boys have lost their lives in last couple of months, koi or mulk hota to Qayamat barpa ho jati but it is only in Pakistan where live goes on without any repercussions for those sitting at decision making stage.

The terrorists couldn't cross the Durand line. It means the wall is effective to stop incursions. Creating surveillance posts along the wall created another deterrent for crossing into Pakistan. Hopefully the incursion into KPK from Afghanistan gets completely stopped. Unable to cross, the terrorists opened fire. Positioning of troops in safe manner in the posts and their deployment for effective fire should be improved by commanders.

Since Taliban call TTP our problem then Pakistan should pound those moda fukas and turn them in to pig $hit. Considering International community is withdrawn from Afghanistan pounding TTP hideout in Afghanistan will come with minimum Diplomatic back lash. Enough with this garbage policy of strategic restraint against Afghanis.

You are expecting too much from this Bajwa - he is a goof. He Should have been let go a long time ago. He just does not have the Leadership capabilities of a COAS. Must be some really big safarish for this goof to become the COAS.

More than 250 check posts created at the border in the last 3-4 years in order to support the fence hence providing ample opporunities to the militants to kill soliders in these check posts. Paramilitarily soliders in these check posts are sitting ducks for hit and run type of attacks.

Two soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom on Sunday after terrorists from inside Afghanistan opened fire across the international border on a military post in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur district, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The military's media wing said that the army troops responded in a befitting manner. "As per intelligence reports, due to fire of Pakistani troops, two to three terrorists were killed while three to four pthers sustained injuries," the statement added.

It said that during the exchange of fire, 28-year-old Sepoy Jamal from Mardan and 21-year-old Sepoy Ayaz from Chitral embraced martyrdom.

"Pakistan strongly condemns the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for activities against Pakistan and expects that existing and future setup in Afghanistan will not allow such activities against Pakistan," ISPR further said.

Earlier, during an interview with a private news channel, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid had reiterated his group's stance that Afghanistan's soil will not be used against any country.

“Our stance is that the Afghan soil will not be used by anyone to destroy the peace of another country,” he maintained, adding that if the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) considered the Taliban their leaders they would follow their orders.

He said that the issue of the TTP is not for Afghanistan to resolve but must be solved by the Pakistani government. “It is dependent upon Pakistan, and Pakistani ulema, not the Taliban, to decide whether or not the TTP’s war is legitimate and to formulate a strategy in response,” Mujahid stated.

In a similar attack in June, two soldiers embraced martyrdom after terrorists opened fire from Afghanistan across the international border on a military post in Dwatoi in North Waziristan district.

During the exchange of fire, 43-year-old Havaldar Saleem and 35-year-old Lance Naik Pervaiz embraced martyrdom, the ISPR's statement read.

Who's to blame now?

They have been wiped out then. This recent op really did a number on them alhamdulillah. Including the loss of their base in afghanistan
Won't be surprised if ISI Covert Action teams and our drones use the opportunity afforded by the collapse to flatten the BLA centres in Afghanistan.

The only solution to minimise casualties is the use of armed drones, Pakistan army leadership is pathetic when it comes to protecting lives of Pak troops, Its time Pakistan sends death squads to hunt these anti state elements where ever they are.

.
As an aside, a greater Drone campaign might be in order.
We have Shahpar and Burraq, both approximately equivalent to a Predator and the Shahpar II, a Reaper.
We now have good MILSAT COMS, so no longer restricted to LOS.
Decimate the TTP/BLA/JuA leadership and bases where you find them, **** the Shahpar II can operate at the Turkmen border, for hours, if need be, we can keep our eye on everyone, including the Taliban, if they try to get too cute.

Sigh. Don't be so....American. Weapons systems are a tool, they aren't a solution in and of themselves. Before you take an action, think about every possible consequence and have contingencies for them.
What happens when we start killing people with drones. Will it lead to a reduction ins casualties on our side? Will the enemy adapt? And how? Will there be blowback?

Have you ever wondered, regular army soldiers go to their barracks at the end of their duty, where they have their living quarters, canteens and all other utilities.....there are others who simply go home at the end of their shift. All the serving soldiers, hundred thousands and more are registered with their rank and file and are paid accordingly every week or month.
Now tell me how do you think these Rag Tag Talibans function, they for example have descended into Kabul from all over the country, how and where they get accommodated, fed and paid. To me the way it looks that anyone with a beard and turban and carrying an AK-47 can claim to be a Taliban....but somehow that doesn't seem to be the case, crazy as it may sound, there's a chain of command and the system seems to be functioning in such way that even US had to acknowledge and play ball.
No there's no chain of command, maybe only for the very top cadres and military groups, and even in those cases, they're probably coordinating with the Pentagon/ISAF.

Ok, strategic victory for Pakistan where it comes to India, sure.. but the situation on the ground isn't really worth romanticizing.

The ANA just rolled over too, didn't they ? Surrendered their guns, changed allegiance and added to the Talib's ranks. The ISAF also withdrew, they never rolled over and submitted in all these 20 years. You're giving them too much credit.

They might slowly form some sort of chain of command within their tribal system at some stage but there's always going to be the risk of rogue commanders, turf wars, tribal fighting, mercenaries and so on. It's a pretty hot mess atm, good luck to you guys, you'll need it.
