Two LeT militants killed in shootout in J&K

Jammu: Two LeT militants were killed by security forces in a shootout in the mountainous district Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir early Sunday morning, an official said.

The Army and police launched a joint operation in Banzwar area, about 220 km northeast of Jammu Sunday morning, an official in Kishtwar district said.

"The contact with militants was established about two hours after encircling the hideout leading to exchange of fire," the official said.

The militants, Mohammad Rafi and Shahnawaz Khandey, belonged to the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit, the official said.

I am not in the military. LeT and its offshoots are the only groups active in bordering towns of J&K. Rest of them have ceased to exist.

Dude seriously, come out of it. How much do you believe this rubbish? If that was the case, the record visitors that J&K have had since last 10 years won't be the case.

LET is breathing its last as you get more and more into trouble. With a more hardline government coming in power in 2014, that will spell the end of the militant group.
