Bases in Karachi, Ormara and Pasni can all house drones and handle LOS connections over the entire stretch of Coastal Highway. The question is not about having satellites but if there's even the slightest bit of will and inclination to extend force protection to these soldiers.

Bajwa was never suitable for the role. I knew it from the day when zardari came back to Pak after 1 and a half year of his self exile from Dubai within days of Bajwa became Army chief and Gen Raheel was gone. Nawaz Sharif made Bajwa army chief because of Bajwa's weak personality.

MQM would have been alive today with all its killings in Karachi if Bajwa was army chief rather Gen Raheel in early 2016. Bajwa even cannot tame PTM. This is Bajwa who made Nawaz Sharif escaped from the country and now the same NS is talking openly against the institution. There was glimpse of hope for accountability of the corrupts which died down because army leadership (Read Bajwa) does not want the accountability. Gen Bajwa seems to enjoy his tea biscuit meetings. I can't see any hope for Pak. We need a nationalist movement. We also need to stop treating enemy combatants as celebrities. Pakistanis have lost the will to fight. We just dont seem to be an aggressive nation.
