That you're a young pup's pretty evident.

When I hear someone feeling important about talking to CMOs ....

Cheers, Doc
Loll.. when did I say that I was feeling important talking to a CMO?

By the way, I report to the board.. and.. getting in touch with CMOs to appraise the board on their performance is really important for me..

Area, population, diversity, resources, history, culture and you have to compare yourself with Pakistan? You could have done better. What did india contribute to the world in it's recent history except for NRIs and laborers?

pretty good for a country with a very low education budget .
we can do better
and in a few years there are surprises coming in Pakistanis education environment .
just wait and see .

Commit suicide instead hiding behind your shame. Don't you people get tired of bringing up different country names

Suicide, we must for being compared with Pakistan:lol:

Pakistan is doing better than Indonesia and Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam all high population countries...pleasant surprise here....and doing many times better than Bangladesh...forget the lower literacy rate here.
Keeping 43 percent children out of school while lavishly funding some university for feel good development is not a wise strategy people in outside Pakistan will agree. Bangladesh may not have many high ranking universities but the countryside are dotted with numerous primary and secondary school keeping 99 percent children in school. Given that our education budget is not that much GDP percentage wise, we have prioritized the grassroots level education rather than generous funding of a few university.
Bigger universities with lots of colleges tend to score average , smaller one scores high with well managed few campuses ..As simple Google search tells us there are 167 universities in pakistan and Bangladesh only has 40 ..
40 are public university and 97 are private university. Total universities in Bangladesh is around 150 in number. Public universities in Bangladesh tends to be bigger and well distributed across the country rather than concentrated in a few big cities. Most of the public university has 10k-30k students in campuses. If we count affiliated colleges, then this number are several times.

Wow. I want more of such news.
Good Going Pakistan !

PS : Plz refrain from pointless comparisions.

It's pretty sad internationally to see Pakistan nowhere on the scientific fora.

Literally absent.

I know they have some good British era and Parsi and Missionary schools.

Some good colleges and universities too.

But I don't know what it is.

Either their cream all goes abroad. Or what's left within is not very good.

Or both.

The gulf is just too stark.

I see more Bangladeshis off late. Even some pockets in Nepal.

Pakistan ... ZERO.

There used to be some brief appearances from their Karachi university and medical school. Now even that's died out.

They are falling back dangerously in higher education (both quality and coverage) and they have near zero industry.

It's very difficult for a nation to come out of that double whammy.

My two cents from my professional field ....

Cheers, Doc

Pakistan is among the top 10 countries in Asia for publishing research papers in the period 1996-2017, according to Scimago:
