Zionism is not strictly an idea, it's am ideology and a movement as well. Otherwise such a movement wouldn't exist today since a Jewish state was already created in Palestine. Nobody would refer to themselves as Zionist anymore since they got what they wanted. However, your own people have turned Zionism into a dirty word by insisting to use the ideology as a pretext for expansion via the occupation of Palestinian territory. You get his point, if Israel wants full diplomatic relations and ties with Muslim and Arab neighbors they should abide by UN resolution 242 and allow for a fully sovereign state. The Arabs and Muslims have said once that happens they will recognize Israel and have full relations with them in every aspect.
