I don't know if it's a good place for leaving earth but i think it's a very good place for the modules which will falll down... Muğla is seaside corner of Türkiye so it has more sea area around it... Also when we launch a satellite grikos, especially their islands will shake like crazy...

They chose Mugla because its closer to equator, Europe is launching their rockets from French Guiana, Usa from Florida, Russia from Kazachstan and Japan from southern Island Kyushu for exsample, you need less fuel the closer you are to equator if im not wrong.

For satellite launch base they are thinking about Muğla...

Maybe saying all aspects is wrong.. I said it about satellite leaving earth(xenon explained it) and human security(about modules)...

I don't know if Muğla is a safe place against attacks for example...

Our guys İTÜ ARISAT Model Uydu Takımı are Champions of CanSat Model Satellite Competition which held in usa...

Another good news is 8 of 59 team is from Türkiye...

Another good news is İTÜ won this competition also in 2011 & 2012... I didn't know that...

Our perfect future satellites are on the way...
