Turkish Space Programs

Yes that's mean we are not investing so much time and money on such projects. Even UAE has passed us on launching domestic satellite, so isn't a big deal anymore.
This is far from truth. KhalifaSat, The satelite you are talking about is Build by S.Korea. UAE send engineers to participate design of it bit like Türksat 4 which Japanese helped us with Com. Satelite. But It is still produced in S.Korea. There is no local production involved. Many Countries/Companies may help with design process But Nobody help with production of Critial components. Göktürk 2 was important steps But If Imece/Türktsa 6 succeced this, We will in totally different league. We will be in big guys League.

@cabatli_53 Rokestan presented a model of their SLV some time back----any progress? When is Turkey expected to launch its own SLV into space? Any timeline available in this regard? I'd be great if you or other members update this thread with the steps taken/being taken in order to make Turkey a satellite launching space nation

By 2025, MUFA (150kg payload, 400km altitude) will be launched on space.
By 2030, Şimşek UFA (1,5t paylod, 700km altitude) will be launched on space.

@cabatli_53 bro how do you interpret this? Is it possible that Roketsan has secretly launched a rocket that is big enough to cross the Karman line without anyone finding out about it?

Bro, Most likely it is a sounding rocket that was launched on space to see the level of maturity that R&D programs has reached regarding rocket propulsion technologies. It seems Roketsan reached the space with one of its sounding rockets and That is the good indicator to reach a success for MUFA (25m length, 35t mass) that will be launched on space in 2025.
