Turkish short range air to air missile test

No Helmet cueing system? without this you cant use HOBS feature but still able to use IIR missile.

Radar guided missiles require more specific data that no one wants to share them. it may cause for enemy to develop counter measures, so if Turkey rejects to provide BVR missile for JF17 , i wouldnt be surprized.

We have JHMCS with F-16s.

However, we don't have one for JF-17 but PAF is working with the chinese for same with possible HOBS missile.

If US allows then these can be a good addition for our F-16 fleet.

Honestly I think China would have a better IIR missile than Turkey because it has a lot more funding, and a lot more experience developing missiles.

Is this better than the newest Chinese IIR?

if Chine had batter E/O tech they would provide their own targeting pod for JF17, and all we know their flirs on UAVs are chit if you compare for turkish ones.

This is different, assuming Pakistan can get PL-15(Meteor equivalent AAM) on JF-17 Block III there will be no point of integrating Turkish radar guided missiles, and assuming that Pakistan can get PL-10 IIR there would be no point of going Turkish on missiles.

we were talking about F16s, they dont have aim9x, they can use another NATO missile instead of it.

You would have to get US permission which I doubt would be granted. US wants to make sales, they aren't going to let Turkey get in the way of that. US is willing to sell AIM-9X to Pakistan if it pays for it, whole problem was Pakistan was trying to get subsidized F-16s, and weapons.

It seems Radar guided BVR Göktuğ called “Gökdoğan” is also fired to a moving target with using same launcher platform where Bozdoğan WVR missiles launched.

SAGE had introduced Bozdoğan firing trial with this image.
