Been there twice, second time to show the place to my girlfriend. But the past 10-12 times I’ve been in Istanbul my always lock onto Sultan Ahmet. That’s where I am headed, always.

First of all converting any other religion's place of worship to a mosque is not allowed in Islam but if Sultan bought it then it is his property he could even make it his Palace but he converted it into a mosque so it should always remain a mosque.

This constitution is not based on the people opinion, it is a constitution created during coup periods and single party periods. however, it does not contradict the current constitution what I mean. Prophet Muhammed pbuh promised us constantinople. Haya Sofia was taken and then paid for. It was a musjid for almost 500 years and there were no issues. Now a part of it will be a musjid again. What's the big deal when in spain musjid are now cathedrals.

You just can't own a worship place dedicated to God, it was a worship place to the Christians who also believe to the true and only God. Anything other than a place dedicaded to Allah isn't conceivable.
When the catholiques pillaged Constantinople, they didn't even spared Agia Sofia. The Roman empire never forgot that (Byzentine is a name given by the catholics to undermine them).

When Sultan Mehmet II took the city he became Sultan Fatih and Emperor of the Romans. He just gave them the choice to repare the sacred place(bc of the Fetih and the Fourth crusade). And in exchange he gave them money to build their own church.

Did Spain/Christians ask Muslims if they should convert the Mosques to Churches? If not why should we ask them?

The entire country is secular, Ataturk made sure of that when he abolished the Sultanate/Caliphate and established our Republic. I dont give a shit about religion, and so do MANY other people in Turkey. You are the only people on a Jihad trying to enforce your religion on other people.

The conversion into a Mosque is just another stupid PR stunt by Erdogan so that gullible people like you can touch yourselves on the idea of a "resurrected" Ottoman Empire, all the while he enjoys dictatorial powers and absolutely ruins our country in practically every aspect, none more so then our ailling economy. 1 Dollar is like 7 Lira but hey atleast Haghia Sophia is a Mosque again. We are definitly going to be a super power right now!
