Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

Turkey has only few TSK soldiers... and give support as IFV, ammo, rifles... . But in General, The army made of FSA look alike fighters in N syria, is unskilled. They are too weak to advance fast enough against enemy tactics ( like what happened in Manbij, with YPG handing over the West to ASSad). That army are not made of 100% well trained fighters, like the Turkish Army. Her future is not well...

They don't need to move against enemy tactics. They only need to come back to Turkey, go to east or west and attack unprotected territory. If needed Turkey would increase its solider.
We have 900 km border with YPG....we can attack then anyhere, not need to attack territory which is prepared to defence against us. US and Russia will do nothing against that.

US-made armored vehicles. But one should not forget that these vehicles are driven by SDF terrorists - not real American soldiers. They usually raise the American flag on every car, every building and every military base they have to irritate ES forces and Turkish soldiers.

Btw, our Münbic Operation has not been started yet. I would assume that Erdogan will officially start the offensive after his meeting with Putin. But this is just a guess.

Yes I remember that one incident where YPG raised US flags on buildings even though there weren't US troops there. It's just to show they love the US, also probably to fool people into thinking it's US soldiers (scare tactic maybe).

Seems like Tayyip ordered his vassal to attack, and Vassal obeys to Master Turk.

better if dont say like that because they are our strategic partner and they deserve respect. If Barzani doesnt support PKK and our enemies we can keep our cooperation with them otherwise they will be alone at the area so will be easy bite for their enemies. This is win win for both sides.

Btw Rudaw TV start to support PKK against Barzani

Being a vassal of Turks isnt a disrespectful thing. You can look at Ottoman era. It is the opposite, very respectful thing.
You are wrong about Barzani and history is going to teach you. Time is going to come and we was going to wish we didn't support him, but just like the government supported feto this is going to hit us in the future.

And do you have any argument to support this claim of yours?

You're not realictic.
Yes Barzani is not Turkey's friend, but he is not PKK's friend neither! Barzani didn't even organise the last election become he knew he would lost it to PUK which are PKK's lover.
So he dosn't have the people support and PKK's managed to increase in power everyhere in the region...he need Turkey. And we need him, at least if we don't want Iraki Kurd to be another PKK stronghold.

Can you even propose another name which can replace Barzani and be better for Turkey ?

Aleppo24 claimed reinforcements were send to Afrin via SAA held territory, but also said SAA wasn't allowed in yet.

Gotta move quick if we want it :)
