Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

SDF say on their Twitter they will push north. LOL yes please we ant to kill you all

Very interesting. This would know doubt be an all out war b/w turkey and Syrian govt. this is turkeys chance to get rid of Assad.

This is how map will look in near days my guess. Deeper ISIS will show resistance I think and will be no easy walk.

Nope Assad is probably smiling because we are killing a mutual enemy. Plus don't forget Turkey has a deal with the bear sitting in Latakia..

Colour of Manbij is wrong :enjoy:

moroon barets and other special forces involved.
There is a suspicion among commentators that because no motor-infantry is involved the current operation is merely a raid - a "PR offensive" timed to the U.S. vice-president's visit - rather than something genuinely meant to cause lasting damage to ISIS. Regardless of that, "if Syrian rebels, the Turkish army and the United States succeed in taking Jarablus from ISIS, it'll be an important step towards finally destroying the Islamist terrorist group."

So, if this sdf force, which consists mostly of ypg, truly wants to battle fsa and our army on the west of the Euphrates, will we get to attack them in the east of Euphrates too?

Nope we are pretty serious. Ask Isis and later on ask the "SDF" how they feel. Tonight we underline just how serious we are when our national security is at stake and our patience runs thin

If they resupply from east or attack from east this automatically makes them legitimate military targets

There are good chance they will.

It's not only about Cerablus or isis. Fsa and Turkish army will push 40km deep, according to a minister. Menbic, currently held by mostly ypg, is also on the target list.

Well it seems like there are 10k-15k SDF. FSA will lose without direct TSK support.
