Turkish Newspaper Yeni Akit Calls Orlando Shooting Victims ‘Perverts’

The Turks have posted at least 12 times in this thread, and yet not a single Turkish member around here has had the decency to condemn this newspaper for the manner in which it mocked the victims of the terrorist attack.

Why am I not the least bit surprised?

Going by your twisted logic, why should the West care about the loss of Muslim life if you don't have enough decency to condemn violence or bigotry committed in the name of Islam?

If you're referring to species, obviously i'm a homo sapien - which is classified as a type of animal - no one is denying that.

I'm talking about a spiritual context - if I disregard God's laws set for me in the Quran, i'm no different from an animal (in fact i'm worse than an animal since animals don't have free will).

The bible has several verses that mention of a clear distinction between Man and animals:

“All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another” (1 Cor. 15:39)

"Yet not even angels, though greater in strength and power, dare to bring such slanderous charges against them before the Lord."
"These men are like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be captured and destroyed. They blaspheme in matters they do not understand, and like such creatures, they too will be destroyed."

Homo sapiens is an animal belonging to the primate group. You said you aren´t an animal so you cant be homo sapiens. So again what are you? A plant? A cyanobacertium or a Mushroom?

There is no spiritual context in science. Just science.

Animals do have a free will. Ever watched a Crow or Gorilla? I assure you there are animals that can easily outsmart you. Ever saw what an Octopus is able to do?

I live in the 21st century. I dont base my life on stuff written during times when people couldn´t even understand how the universe looks like.

A god who cares so much about sexual practices can´t be my god. I´m a strong person. I want a strong god. A god that fills my universe with sense. Not someone who lectures me about homosexual practices and why shellfish is bad for me.

The west dosent care when muslims die, they dont particularly care when non white people die

Its why they have days of bleating and moaning and a whole song and dance if something happens in Paris but barely a news mention if something happens in Istanbul or Lahore
