Construction of first two subs started just two months ago they will be finished at 2015.

It takes 3 years to finish the construction. and also Bayar mentioned that it will be ready by 2016 with 1 year latency.

CAFRAD will be quite big/strategic radar complex which is going to be integrated on a 160m hull to watch not only aircrafts but also missiles as well. Milgem-L will have either Smart-S Mk-2 or Aselsan Hazar.

CAFRAD will be quite big/strategic radar complex which is going to be integrated on a 160m hull to watch not only aircrafts but also missiles as well. Milgem-L will have either Smart-S Mk-2 or Aselsan Hazar.

I'm sure ASELSAN will do the best for MİLGEM-L.. Maybe untill that time they can improve HAZAR much more...

Naval variant of Aselsan new developed Mid range Miboile radar is thought to integrate Turkish Assault boats.

Are there any details available indicating why the corvette design is going to be different from the first ones that were produced? (Heybeliada and Buyuk ada)

Just check Vertical launch tubes integrated on foredeck and Think Hisar-O missiles to be fired at a likely aerial target. In additions, Think Gezgin Land attack cruise missiles launch tube spaces (Tomahawk equivalent) I think You will get the point.

unfortunatelly we havent got any info about it... we saw it first time on navyrecognition.com from fair photos of DIMDEX 2014

they only published a photo and no info regarding this.... we guess it will replace our older patroal boats like kartal klass. and Turkish forum members says speed can be about 42 knots,

weapon systems looks like that:

-8 SSM
-4 torpedos
-two sides soft-kill
-2 STAMP
-1 RAM
-1 76 mm main gun

Design must be made by STM

That is awesome news, it's worth mentioning that radar is Active Phased Array

I expect it to be similar to MAARS
