Yes but we do not need an AC. Its similar to India fetish of AC's. It is going to cost like 1 billion, spend that one billion on R&D and get better engineers. We have alot more priorities such as Tank engine, aircraft engine, SAM technology, long range missile technology etc etc. We are not like USA or other countries that have oil and can spend too much. We have to think 20 times before taking one step.

Im talking about instead of paying 1 billion or more to make an AC, you can spend that money elsewhere, for example on r&d for other projects.

We are looking to buy/make a LHD now which is enough for our needs.

My opinion.

What narrow heads or views are you talking about,sometimes its better to be realistic then dreaming away.
Talking about Anatolia,secure it first,be sure that you have your Anatolia when your Blue Water Navy is ''sailing'' the oceans.
Such projects need a solid ground to start with,we cant even finance the S-400(only $2,5 billion) without a loan,what kind of bs is that for a country like Turkiye(G20 country)?
I call it a ''loan economy''.
We have three million refugees being a burden for our economy and people,they act like they own the place,we have PKK/PYD/ISIS in (and on our borders) whome we are fighting every day which is another financial(not even talking about the soldiers we lose every day) burden,our tourism sector is almost finished and those tourists coming arent happy with all the ''refugees'' everywhere.
Most of our allies are working against us,trying to corner us,we have more enemies then friends,anytime a war can break out against us,these are no worries,we should dream big?
Dreaming and talking big is easy,actually doing big,needs more then that.
Solve all these problems first,then ill dream big with you.

Bro, having a vision for the future is not equal to producing an AC.

I will just skip the resources, technology, adopting new doctrine, maintenance costs, the need of the suplementary ships (as an AC operate in a carrier battle group) and training of the crew.

Do we have overseas territory which needs protection ?

Do we have any serious investment like oil rigs far away from home ?

Can we bypass UNSC and unilaterally invade a country ?

So...what will be the practical use of an AC ? Or we just gonna sail on the Oceans and say that "we have an AC" ?

2 LHD is enough for us to protect our interests in the Mediterranean sea and as a deterrent against regional countries.
