I have always wanted to ask why we don't have a single destroyer. I'm an amateur so don't be rude if I'm wrong please.

This is French patrol vessel with Russian Smerch Launchers and American artillery rockets.
Guided Artileery rockets more cheap than SOM or Harpoon. With missiles artillery rockets why not use?
For every cheap object(radars or base) use missiles will be expensive.
Artilery rockets can make busy the enemy air defence systems.
With 50 x 300mm rockets
and 4 x 600 rocket great platform

UN has limited numbers of guns in Cyprus. Turkey cant increase.For the Cyprus and Egean island this ships very smart.


Althought If ISIS will came the Mediterrian Beach??

Or in Libia or in Tunuis or in Egypyt will be big caos? If This countries lost democracy? Turkey has interested recently Magreeb Country.

Also People's Liberation Army ahead of many countries.
I think they have researced in your photos.
Germany has already been trying.

Mate i don't know what we are arguing about, using SPG's on a ship is an idiotic idea. Without the compensation of an stabilized turret (which SPG's don't have) how are you going to hit your target on...let's say Sea State 2 ???

these artillery ships only have a single purpose , support landing operations
but their range and capabilities restricts them from supporting any operation far away from it's home base

dude, chinese navy is a bunch of amateurs, if you wanna learn something on how a modern, professional navy should look like, check out JMSDF

Manual loading guns have no place in navies... even a most advanced land based gun like pzh2000 is no way enough responsive to be useful in the seas

today all naval guns are multi-purpose, they have to be
even most WWII warships had multi-purpose guns

Today I had imagined "ship based naval MLRS", but you didn't understand me.
Only Chinese can understand me.

How many SOM or Harpoon we have to spend for a cheap terorist who doesnt cost 1 dollar?
I have only imagined it, if terorist or enemies are near the mediterrian port cities.
Or against Greece we will use only SOM and Harpoons?

dude, that's a much more inferior design than the current VLS systems.

soviets had horizontally placed launchers on slava class:

But their best ships, the nuclear powered kirov class battlecruisers had VLS
