Turkish nationals in Bangladesh living in fear

Turkish nationals in Bangladesh and S. Africa??? What is the good reason for them to be in these countries except for several officials working for embassies?
Where do you live, its 2017,Turkish people do business and live everywhere, almost in every country on the planet?

I really don't know what a Gulenist is. I googled it and apparently the Turkish government claims they are a dissenting group who attempted to overthrow the Turkish government in a coup. We are multi-cultural and all cultures generally adapt well here since the people don't discriminate. Most of our food outlets are halal considering that we have a sizeable Muslim population. Turks generally fit in well in SAfrica and I have met quite a few of them here. Most of the Turks here either work for themselves or are educators or professionals such as doctors and engineers. I visited Turkey about 3 years ago ...beautiful country
Now you know why my country is as it is,a mess, with such intellects.

i dont think that there are many turks who are interested in immigrating to SA or Bangladesh. They woul downgrade their living standarts and normaly u migrate to countries whose living standarts are higher then yours.

You have a wrong view of the living standards in those countries.
Rich(only business people go to such countries) people have the same living standards as in the home country.
Google Johannesburg,Cape Town,Dhaka and take a look at the modern areas.
I go to South Africa for business a couple of times a year and trust me,life is good there if you have money(sometimes, better then in Turkiye).

Yeah, i mean its possibile that some highly educated turks have set up there their business or see business oppurtunities there but unlikely that ur avg turk sees these countries as possibile immigration destination they simply a lower living standart that wouldnt make sense to me. there are 3500 turks in SA that is to low u certainly wouldnt meet them in the streets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turks_in_South_Africa)

Hi,

Bangladesh is a wonderful place to live in and so is south africa---. I can retire in the U S and from my social security income---I can have a very good living in bangladesh or south africa---morocco---algeria---and so many other countries in the region---. For the right person---there are also so many opportunites as well.---.

Nice kind people---good food---good environment---medical facilities are available---so what is wrong---.

Hi,

I think that Mr Erdogan needs to come down from his high horse---and smell the air close to the ground---.

This 'Gulenist" purge has gone on for too long---. This extended hatred is not good.

Gulen's Cult is a terrorist organisation using islam as a tool to gain more followers. The "purge" should continue until the last member is cought/punished. They damaged Turkey too much...

And, this has nothing to do with Erdoğan but the future of country.

As long as these people are law abiding and Erdogan cannot provide credible evidence of both crimes committed by them and that any deported will be treated fairly, then BD should refuse to hand them over. Humanitarian reasons should override other interests.

Sir,

Your comments are incorrect---your words " purge " is a proof of that---.

Those days of catching the ' last member ' and punishing them are long gone a century or two ago---if they are still happening in Turkey---that is a matter of serious concern.

It has everything to do with Erdogan---it is all about the Emir---the mayor has come a long ways---just like Bani Sadar in Iraq.

On a side note: what's your opinion on Nissan Murano 2017 and chevy Equifax 2018?

As an outside viewer---I think that the incidence was a staged drama that unfolded in a " creative setup "---and knowing my turkish brethren a little bit---I am going to put on my flack jacket and a " face mask " as well---.
Nobody's spreading hatred here. They're dismantling a deep-rooted proxy structure full of "cryptic" folks!!! This is no civil organization, we're talking about an army of "zombies" who can put into "robotic" motion on a mass killing genocidal spree by pressing a button!!! They have ben brainwashed into believing that they are following orders from Pennsylvania resident Mehdi/Mesih etc. who can directly talk to Allah!!! They came with F-16s and tanks and firing on civilians!!! Turkey has seen plethora of coups in its history but nobody had seen such rage and vengeance!!! They dropped CBU-105 cluster bombs on the National Parliament, Presidential Place and Police compounds!!!! Even mosques weren't spared!!! They tried to mobilize surface-to-surface missiles, thanks to some brave soldiers, but couldn't do it!!! By the by, they're not showing the slightest remorse!!! When videos of their activities are shown in the court house they just laugh the accusations away!!! IMO most of us have no clue what sort of folks we are talking about!!! Turkey has just been saved by Allah-u Azimushshan, not because of the folks roaming around, but because of those luminous Zats who are lying beneath!!!!

Gulen's islamic cult for Turkey is what ISIS is for the world. Would you say the world should stop fighting ISIS too? I am not a pro-Erdoğan but in this particular case i do support his struggle to finish Gulen's terror organisation.

The number of Turks in Durban alone exceeds 3500. Those figures certainly require updating. There are more Turks in Cape Town and Gauteng which are provinces, then there are in Durban which is a city.

.
.

The fact that I do socialise with Turks in Durban and Cape Town. There is one residential area in Durban consisting of at least 1000 houses which is dominated by Turkish residents.

i dont think that there are many turks who are interested in immigrating to SA or Bangladesh. They woul downgrade their living standarts and normaly u migrate to countries whose living standarts are higher then yours.

As stated earlier, I did visit Turkey and I also visited some Turkish homes and residential areas (extremely hospitable people). Our middle class standard of living in Durban is on the same level as that of Turkey's. Clearly, we have more numbers of poor people than Turkey does. The standard of living of the middle class, upper middle class and wealthier in South Africa is on par (and on a biased note perhaps better) than in Turkey. One of my dad's Turkish friends who is around 40 years old remarked to us that the first Mercedes which he ever could afford was in South Africa
