8x8 market is getting over saturated in Turkey and the world now. Is this the third 8x8 after FNSS and Otokar?

To be honest it isn't likely Turkey will be able to supply the UAE market very much compared to back in 2017 when ties were better, and considering they are developing a local market with foreign engineers. There is also Euro+American market which can supply pretty much the same things as Turks but with less risk attached.Yes. TUMOSAN's project has not yet revealed. FNSS and Otokar 8x8 vehicles continue to develop for a long time with new models and updates. Otokar became UAE's solution partner. FNSS 8x8 was Malaysia's choice. BMC 8x8 will probably be preferred by Qatar.

"Through our recent activities, Otokar is no longer playing only a vehicle manufacturer and supplier role in GCC but also enjoys its local MRO activities and even transferring its engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Last year Otokar Land Systems' joint venture company Al Jasoor signed a significant 8x8 armoured vehicle contract for UAE Armed Forces for RABDAN 8x8 Armoured Vehicles, which is displayed right beside us, in Al Jasoor stand."To be honest it isn't likely Turkey will be able to supply the UAE market very much compared to back in 2017 when ties were better, and considering they are developing a local market with foreign engineers. Turkey has a good few countries that will buy from it like Qatar, Azerbaijan, and some Asian and Euro countries.
Its just a little too risky for me considering ties are not very stable between the two countries especially recently with Libya, and if Turkey sanctioned the UAE the whole vehicle would be hard to operate very well. It would be much safer buying from Europe or the USA cause they would be less likely to sanction the UAE."Through our recent activities, Otokar is no longer playing only a vehicle manufacturer and supplier role in GCC but also enjoys its local MRO activities and even transferring its engineering and manufacturing capabilities. As a result, works continue within the scope of the Rabdan project. Isnt it? The contract has not been canceled. Industrial relations do not move as fast as political mechanisms as you might think. This monster is now another added value for the UAE defense industry. Of course, cooperation between our countries has much greater potential, but we should expect the political climate to change slightly before.
Its a dumb move on their part not saying it doesnt happen and if UAE wants to be a regional power it ideally shouldn't buy anything from rivals.UAE is the third biggest arm importer from Turkey in 2021 so far, those armored vehicle projects explain this i guess.
That's a first quarter value, not annual.69 million is very little though the UAE usually spends a couple billion at least on arms purchases yearly.
200 million is not even a lot to be honest UAE spends 5x that much on Raytheon yearly and thats just one company. That's a first quarter value, not annual.
You should be the ruler of UAE, appereantly there is no general knows better than you there, when it comes to whats good and whats bad for them.
You are confusing me with the ruler of UAE, i am not even UAE citizen. Quick, go to Dubai and scream at the windows of the palace or whatever they have for their ruler, you must show him the big picture that you see before it's too lateDude do you not see that Turkey is an enemy of UAE or are you naive?
