Absolute right. Turkey has also OEM manufacturers for engine parts and others.

Just reporting what the German media and Rheinmetall are saying. There was talks about upgrading them against mines and missiles. Let's wait and see, I'm expecting either more new the coming days or weeks or silence.

Also there is the joint venture of Rheinmetall and BMC called Rheinmetall BMC (very creative) which was paused because of German embargos, will be intersting to see if their will be anything new happening about this.

Turkey requested Rheinmetall last year for the Leopard upgrade. (Not limited to.)
Meaning, this was after Aselsan's upgrade project.

But German govt didn't approve thanks to the diplomacy fall out. Now back on track.
