I don't see Turkey committing to one side yet. It is too early in the game and committing to one side will give us all the disadvantages and non of the advantages. NATO is not willing to commit either. They just want Turkey to go alone although we are suppose to be a "one for all and all for one".

The thing is the PKK violence against Turkey is spiraling out of control. They are killing Turkish soldiers and policemen for days now. If we beat ISIS in some battles to show the world we are not with ISIS and then steamroll PKK it is a good move. There are no good options left. Only options that are not bad as the other bad options.
