Partnership invitation to Malaysia for MMU

I think Malaysia is the most viable partner we can have for MMU and hurjet projects. They have no problem with Western or Eastern countries. Both Azerbaijan and Pakistan would cause more sanctions for this project than it already is facing. This would speed up the project and may even help to reach it's Target dates.

Kotil also said that they were invited to Malaysia for jet training and light attack aircraft Hürjet.

Hürjet is a very good plane. Both light attack aircraft and training aircraft. They are interested. We expect a positive approach. We can share the National Combat Aircraft, Anka and Aksungur.

Pakistan extends Turkey’s deadline to deliver T129 helos

ANKARA, Turkey — Pakistan has extended the deadline for Turkish Aerospace Industries to deliver 30 T129 helicopter gunships on order, amid
U.S. reluctance
to grant Turkey technology export licenses.

With the American move now seriously jeopardizing the sale, the Turkish government has tasked Tusas Engine Industries, TAI’s sister company, with developing an indigenous engine for the T129.

“Pakistan has agreed to give us another year [to resolve the problem]. We hope we will be able to develop our indigenous engine soon to power the T129,” Ismail Demir, the head of Turkey’s top procurement agency, said Jan. 6. “After one year, Pakistan may be satisfied with the level of progress in our engine program, or the U.S. may grant us the export license.”

In 2018, TAI signed a $1.5 billion agreement to sell a batch of 30 T129 helos to Pakistan. However, the company needs to secure U.S. export licenses for any export deal with a third country. TAI produces the 5-ton attack helicopter, which is based on its predecessor, the A129 Mangusta.

The T129 is a twin-engine multirole attack helicopter produced under license from the Italian-British company AgustaWestland. It’s powered by two LHTEC T800-4A turboshaft engines. Each engine can produce 1,014 kilowatts of output power. The T800-4A is an export version of the CTS800 engine. LHTEC, the maker of the engine, is a joint venture between the American firm Honeywell and the British company Rolls-Royce.

A procurement source told Defense News on Jan. 10 that Pakistan is also lobbying the U.S. to support the deal.

But U.S. diplomatic sources in Ankara said it’s unlikely Washington will issue the license given the cold nature of U.S.-Turkish defense procurement ties. The U.S. last year suspended Turkey’s membership in the multinational Joint Strike Fighter program in response to Turkey’s acquisition of the Russian-made S-400 air defense system.

If these yanks want to sabotage why there isn’t counter sabotage simply put a ban of 5 years for american ships in black sea
We will all see how they will allow the export the engine and maybe they will offer a discount price for the “misunderstanding”

Why to play such games ata ll? Just be patiente and work hard, at the end it will take 1-2 years more till TS1400 is ready and then they'll just loos pressure tool completely, 1-2 years more TS3000 will be there and so on. TF-X engine will ofcourse take bit longer but thats doable aswell, Altay moto also. It takes much patiente, hard work, investment but at the end the son of a bitches will loose every damn possibility to bloc anything!

The problem is Pakistan is listed in list. They don't want to deliver countries who are in that list specially Pakistan. Why do Turkey have engines and Pakistan not?

So the best offer we can make is they have to wait for TS1400 engine.

You have enough helos in your inventory. Give up 10 helos as first batch. This will give you enough time to produce an indigenous engine.

Pretty sure the engines and other US parts come with the condition that they can not be sold to another country without their approval and Pakistan is not going to get any approval from the Americans right now.
