Turkish base in Sudan a problem for Arab powers

They are black

Arab is an identity constructed by a shared culture and language. Not referring to the ethnic group of Arabian people. Sudan identifies with this as well and adopted the pan-Arab flag in 1970.

Moroccans (the far west) are not the same ethnicity as Bahrainis or Iraqis (far east), their looks differ a lot as well however this has no impact on Arab identity. They will all have certain specific traits originating from their local culture and roots, which are mixed with Arabism.

Likewise Turks are not all of the same ethnicity, many are mixed and have Greek European blood. What makes them Turks is that which they identify with.

Modern day pan-Arabism and Arab nationalism originated from Syria, they're not even Arabian by ethnicity. Arab world is bound by linguistic and cultural similarity, not ethnicity.
