Turkish base in Sudan a problem for Arab powers

Don't be surprised if Turkey sets up base in Ethiopia :)

I have heard of talks for one in Kuwait to, they are also concerned about the Saudis. But its ok Turkish base in Qatar was enough for Saudis to shit themselves.

Both of these makes perfect sense seeing how the geopolitics are starting to shape in the area. +Oman would be perfect IMO, Yemen would be great too but I don't think we can manage to intervene there as both the US and Iran is heavily invested right now.

Trolling is all you know to do without even understanding what it means, what a low life.. Dogs can bark what they want, the Arab Caravan is well and going..continue crying..

Aren't you a Bakistani?

Why build in Sudan when they could build in Djibouti which is right on the strait?

Turks should be careful about overspending. Foreign military bases suck the money out of your country like a vampire. If these bases are some monkey model bases which are weak and cheap to operate but are good points of logistical nodes. Perfect!

But big and strong bases are costly. I hope the Turks can handle it in the long run if things going into recession at home. Turkey is not the U.S

No point having in Yemen if you have one in Sudan and Somalia.

You're only thinking of air and naval assets though. A foreign base with land access to Saudi Arabia is a big deterrent and power projection multiplier if push comes to shove.

UAE threatens Pakistan every once in a while and KSA warns of a war with Iran in 10-15 years, sounds powerful lol
Arabs are known to have a big mouth..but no traction..

almost whole 1,5 billion muslims love the Turks and Turkey
but problem is pro-American-British puppet leaders such as SISI in Egypt , Royal families in KSA and UAE
Arabs have no problem with the Turks but puppet leaders have problem with Turkey
because of the US-The UK-France ( who killed millions of Arabs ) rules puppet Arab leaders
I doesn’t apply to everybody...but you are absolutely right if you are targeting the countries that were created by the western power and still protected by them to this day..

How's this policy of making nearly everyone in the region hostile going to benefit your economy. About 15 to 20% of all Turkish exports go to Arab states. If they cut it you have a problem.

They've got a base literally few kms from KSA/UAE... and it didn't change much...Export even arises of nearly 7%+... Influence is leverage...
And it will mostly be "point of Interest" than actual Complete base...With training compounds etc...

It can change, it didn't because they didn't make such a move yet. The Arab states are actually friendly towards Turkey which has been acting hostile and taking all opportunities to harm them.

Everything can change.
As for the Friendly/Hostile theory... let's say both sides played their part... And I don't think neither side are hostile toward the other...except the normal Ideological rift...

The Sudan "Base" isn't new... It's been at least 2 years that I heard about it...
Sudan is a GCC close ally... And didn't encounter KSA/UAE opposition. Neither EGY spoke against it...

And Like I said before... it's all good for the region... That will reshuffle the current seats and push Arabs to wake up from their Golden slumber... Since they are still on the 1000ish train of "Only When Bro standup That I will"

The Current "heads" only believe in Family rivalry... So better be served as soon as possible.

Since when did Arabs suddenly care about Sudan.

And to the chinamen f off from this thread.
