MKE’s Yavuz truck-mounted howitzer have been alleviated according to demands

Yavuz truck-mounted howitzer, which was developed by the Machinery and Chemical Industry Institution with its own facilities, has been alleviated.

The cabin height of the platform, which is exhibited during IDEF'19 in Istanbul, was reduced in height according to the demands. In addition, the weight of the vehicle is reduced without compromising armor and CBRN protection. Again, a semi-automatic loader added. In this way, the vehicle can be transported with C-130 Hercules plane. Previous version of Yavuz which is introduced at IDEF'17, could only be transported with A400M planes. There is no change in the Panter (Panther) howitzer and the firing control system.
