The Air Force Command was established with the purpose of preventing treats and dangers likely to be received via air against Turkish country and Turkish Nation, and facilitating the way to success of the duties of Land and Naval Forces during a possible war. Headquarters of the Turkish Air Force (TURAF) is located in Ankara.

Main duty of the Air Force Command is to deter the enemy from its aggressive intention via its arms and means with superior velocity and brisance, to counteract enemy aircraft rapidly as soon as they enter Turkish airspace in case of an attack against the country, to discourage and dishearten from maintaining the war by destroying the vital military targets of the enemy country and to ensure that war is won within the shortest time possible with least casualties.

I asked in other thread but didn't got an answer, is there a plan to upgrade remaining 30/40/50s to 50+ standarts ? or 52/52+ ?
F16 block 50/50+ flies with GE F110 engine and block 52/52+ flies with a P&W engine that's the only difference. Only th british F16s with RR engines has some performance boost on the other hand 50 and 52 is basicly the same shit and we're not planning on switching engines :) we have spare parts for GE F110, we have technicians familiar with GE F110, there's no reason to **** up the standardization of the whole fleet.
 
Sorry Leginnaire but 2 Atlas's will become tankers.
2 lease KC-135s...
This is 100% my own opinion.

How long are the leases for? I thought that ended years ago and that we only had 7.
