Most probably we will sign. The Turkish experience with the Defence sector of France, Italy and Spain is good.

The are capable lock our AD missiles on NATO planes

" At sunrise the same Polish FRONTEX aircraft from our previous post was patrolling the area and received 15 warnings from 2 Turkish ground radar stations. The warnings were to leave the area as supposedly the aircraft was flying within Turkish airspace. The aircraft was threatened with having a tactical operation mounted against it.

The Polish FRONTEX aircraft was at the time patrolling in the vicinity of Samos and Chios at an altitude of 3,000 feet in search for illegal immigrants. The patrol was according to an established patrol route.

The warnings by the Turkish side started at 04:31 and lasted nearly 3 hours until 07:18. The aircraft had taken off at 04:06 and landed again at 07:57. Despite the threats the Turkish side did not send fighters to carry out the “tactical operation”."

I don't understand the point you're trying to make with the old news from 2010 ?

.
point you're trying to make

Aren't you reading the post ? FRENCH systems are capable to lock on NATO targets. Our F-16 was shot down from a Mirage 2000 with a Matra Magic missile by Greece.
Can we shot down Greek planes with "unmodified" F-16 s ?

Same is valid for TR 22 XX french radars. Do you believe that France restricts to lock on some targets ? We are not Saddams Army from the 80's and 90's who was faked !
Aster and Samp-T will be able to lock on all kind of targets, whose IFF code is not compatible with Turkish IFF friend databank.
That is same for S-400 and the reason why the USA got in Panic !

thanks for clarifying, even though I'm reading the posts, I don't think it was very clear what the point was. Can you provide a link to the shooting down of our F16, I would have expected hell on earth when that happened. but don't recall any such.

May I ask how old are you bro. ?
What about hell ?

Oct. 1996, a HAF Mirage 2000 fired an R.550 Magic II and shot down a Turkish F-16D that had violated the Greek airspace.

So is this planned as a Plan B in case something goes wrong with the development of Hisar-U? If I'm not remembering wrong Hisar-U was also planned to be used on TF-2000 for AAW.

Not only Hisar-U, but also naval variants of Hisar-A, O and Sapan missiles will be integrated on Naval platforms.

It's possible to lock on to even your own air force assets. By default, the IFF will warn the pilot that the target is classified as "friendly" but as long as it's giving off a radar echo it's still technically possible to lock on to it and fire. As far as the missile is concerned, it doesn't matter who it's going after. IFF can be turned off or ignored. Many ECM measures attempt to replicate or jam/suppress IFF signals and combat pilots are trained not to rely on it 100%.

Friendly lock ons are common in air force/NATO training.

This came to my mind when I saw your post

What a magnificent and beautiful day will it be when we see one of our frigates or submarines fire a fully indigenous Hisar-U or Gezgin! :)

Yeah, 90's & early 2000's were also an interesting time with Turks and Griks dogfighting daily in the Aegean. Both sides lost people/planes to "friendly fire" from an ally. :(
