If Turkey joined the EU then it's borders would be with Iran, Syria, Iraq you can't all it the EU anymore.

Next the Anti Islamic sentiment is high in Europe and Turkish immigrants aren't what you call models immigrants Germany for example.

it would drastically change the power in the EU.

What the turks couldn't do in Vienna they will do peacefully.

Turkey joining the EU will bring alot of Anti Muslim sentiment. no way turkey even joins the EU if ever won't be for a long time.

Well Turkeys human rights record isn't that great either. the EU would also have to put more money on developing turkeys Undeveloped Regions, Turkey only other option is with the Middle East, Because Russia is taking over Central Asia again and the other turkic states are going back to russia I have already stated this the russian don't want americans nor turks meddling in central asia.

Well, Turkey's (supposed) adversary is China, more than Russia (so-called East Turkestan issue). I've seen most Turks sympathising with Uighur terrorists. But I hope their government does not have such foreign policy.

Yeah, I find it illogical why Turkey is ashamed of being included under middle east, at the same time so desperate for Europe. GCC may be a very good option for Turkey to join, though it is for Gulf countries.

Yes I'm unaware of this myself turkey doesn't really want anything to do with less developed arab countries have they gotten over the debate of them being european or asian ? lol if turkey joins the GCC that means basically it's a Arab Nato-EU turkey will not only have to unite with arab countries but fight their wars lol it seems it's going to arabs who will take over the former ottoman relics.

The GCC it's performance against iran is pathetic if turkey joined it they would provide the tools for the right leadership. currently half of cyprus is occupied and Azerbaijan is the only other ally but it hates the current leadership in Turkey, azeri's are also threatening to start another war with Armenia.

Turkey only option is left with the Middle East because central asia will only cause problems with both Russia and China.
