Turkey wants Israel to upgrade systems with M60 tanks
It is estimated that Turkey wants to upgrade 300 M60 tanks, the average upgrade cost for each tank of 2-3 million dollars. Not yet clear whether this is the IMI system upgrade the tanks when the deal will close

After thawing of relations between the two countries, Turkey wants to go to upgrade 300 M60 tanks, according to a Defensenews. In addition, Turkey wants to upgrade another 100 German tanks Leopard 2 type.
Recall that in the 90's IMI has conducted a successful project to upgrade 170 Turkish tanks of this type. Upgraded tanks survived one year Kornet missile attacks on Syria without an active defense system.
It is estimated that the average cost of upgrading each tank reaches the volume of 2-3 million dollars. Not yet clear whether this is the IMI system upgrade the tanks if the deal goes through or other Israeli companies.
Alongside specific upgrade, Turkey is also preparing for mass production of the Altay tank based on a South Korean tank.
