There is definitely a market albeit not as large as other countries markets and Rabdan was a bad purchase on the part of the UAE armed forces considering it can be sanctioned by the Turks. UAE armed forces should have gone for the Wahash 8x8 as it is less likely to be sanctioned by the companies producing vital components.We do not need to sleep in the same bed, today vehicles such as Rabdan are produced by a joint company with Turkish companies. Or you can take into account vehicles such as Harimau developed for Indonesia. Fnss alone has just delivered more than 200 new 8x8 - 6x6 vehicles to Oman. Tumosan and BMC Power also have engines in this class. So there is a market even just for the projects at hand.
