Baykar AKINCI UCAV

AKINCI UCAVs will be enough to wipe out enemy Navies , Air Defense Systems , Attack Helicopters , Tanks , Howitzers , etc

thanks to Turkish Defense Industry to arm AKINCI UCAVs with

-- 280 km SOM-C network enabled anti ship missile to hit even moving Warships
-- 280 km SOM Cruise Missile to hit Air Defense Systems like S300VM-PATRIOT
-- 74 km KUZGUN joint attack Bomb with IIR or MMW Radar seeker to hit mobile Air Defense Systems like PANTSIR-S1 , TOR-M2 and BUK
-- 65 km GOKDOGAN air to air missile to hit AH-64 and KA-52 Attack Helicopters or Wing Loong UCAVs
-- 8 km UMTAS anti Tank Missile with top attack capability to destroy M1A1 and T90 Tanks

-- AESA Radar
-- SATCOM
-- 6 multi-core Artificial Intelligence Computers

AKINCI UCAV will be able to collect information by recording the data received from sensors and cameras on the UCAV through artificial intelligence computers

This artificial intelligence system that can detect the angle of tilting, standing and heading of the UCAV without the need for any external sensor or GPS

It will also provide environmental awareness using geographic information and advanced artificial intelligence system will have decision making feature by processing the data it obtains

Thrust Type : 2 x 450 Hp or 2 x 750 Hp Turbuprop Engines

-- Dual SATCOM + Dual LOS Communication System
-- Air to Air AESA Radar, Collision Avoidance Radar and Synthetic Aperture Radar
-- Fully Autonomous Flight Control System
-- Fully Autonomous Taxi, Take Off, Cruise, Landing without any external sensor air on the ground
-- GPS Independent Guidance System
-- Fully and Semi Automatic Flight Modes
-- Cross Redundant Ground Control Station Architecture

It will be the first time a drone called Akinci will lock on aerial targets by own AESA radar, and fire national BVR missiles. The drone will be able to fire these missiles around an altitude of 40000ft.

What I wonder can it be use bvr missiles in a network which missile use a long range radar like aselsan developed long range land based radars, i class, tf2000's or awacs radar for targeting. All this can be if entegration of bvr to akıncı gives abilitiy to hit targets before nose mounted aesa radar install.
We can use 7/24 akinci for air defence of our country.

Since the tests seem successful what do you estimatee when this missile is gonna be operational?

By 2022, Both BVR missile and Akinci drones will be operational.

but in especially East Med, These drones will cause a big headache when Akinci took off the base with SOM-J anti-ship and land attack cruise missiles. Turkish long range missiles were tied on bigger network by two-way national data-links called Kement. In network centric warfare concept, These drones don't need to track on any target before they drop the long range missiles. They will just fire the cruise missiles from safe distances and let other units like AEW&C take control the missiles.
