Also, it is no relationship with Turkey, you can open another forum, China has problems, does not mean that Turkey is no problem.

To 胡子海盗: let's not derail this thread. We are all on the side of victims and the Armenians in Anatolia 95 years ago were doubtless predominantly victims.
But if you excuse the CCP government because the students were "used" ... don't you think it's at least possible that the Armenians as a group were "used" or "agitated" to bring down an empire?
It does not change their "victimhood" and not the least mitigate their sufferings ... but it does make one wonder what the motive was in insisting a "genocide" label ...
Look up Dzungar Mongols ... who suffered massacre to a man at the hands of the Manchus, who were the rulers of China at that time.
Does that mean today's China has to wear the official label of "genocide perpetrator"?
How about the Mongolian expat association of Washington lobbying Uncle to pass a "resolution" on that?
Excuse? Students are innocent, the most sympathetic and most vulnerable, but they are internal forces and foreign forces to use, it is a fact. This premature action can only have one outcome, to see the Soviet Union, but fortunately did not succeed. To 胡子海盗: "relationship" is relative - I call hypocrisy when I see it. We are all on the side of victims and the Armenians in Anatolia 95 years ago were doubtless predominantly victims.
So let's get into the topic:

Yes let's stop derailing the thread.
Your post above wasn't much help though.
We can go through history and talk about the massacre of the Native Americans, or the Roman use of slavery, but that would just derail the thread further. Let's stick to the issue.
Then why do you bring it up? Starvation caused by failed economic policies does not fit the definition of genocide.
Maybe the party has not apologised directly for it (yet), but all leaders of the CPC starting from Deng Xiaoping have admitted that Chairman Mao made serious mistakes.
And his mistakes have nothing to do with the new generation of leadership, all of who support a "socialist market economy", and many of whom were actually PURGED during the era of Mao.
Aye aye captain. I said what I wanted to say. I am going to retire and let the Iranians and Turks take this up further ...
I doubt they really wish to.
Buddy, he or she is a well known assh@le on this forum, he thought he know it all adtitude is simply unbearable, you need to be a little longer here to understood his agenda. Best is to ignore him or her.

Like I said before, it seems to be an issue of poor social skills, rather than anything deliberate.
I thought we established that my little friend ... I am here entertaining you, no? Would I do that if I was blessed with "social skills"?
New Recruit
Iranians are such a bunch of double-faced junkies ... Iranians are the most selfish nation to ever walk this planet ....
